When you first enter the hotel it's great - common areas (lobby/lounge/restaurant) are hip and cool and well designed. After a couple of mediocre hotels I thought to myself "finally!"||But... Looks can be deceiving. The 4+ star lobby gives way to a 2-3 star room.||Our room lacked any of the personality of downstairs, with no decoration or design and was quite small. As others have noted, it's awkwardly laid out, with separate toilet, wet shower and then the sink in the room, about 1 meter from the beds. If you're traveling with someone you aren't super close with, good luck having any privacy when showering and dressing. ||Wifi is terrible. Water pressure is decent.||Windows have blinds, not curtains, so the light comes blazing in at 4am, ensuring you awaken with the rising sun.||Location is a mixed bag. Short 5 minute walk to the subway station. 20 minutes to Kyocera dome. But a good 30 minute walk to the common tourist areas of the city, so YMMV depending on the experience you're looking for. Pretty limited dining options in the immediate vicinity, but there is a very nice grocery store just downstairs with tons of ready-to-eat fare. Hotel restaurant looked and smelled good, but I was chased off by the Y3000-4000 price tag for a pizza.||Amenities common to most Asian hotels like toothbrushes, comb, razor, etc are available at a charge from the front desk, under the guise of sustainability. Mind you, I saw nothing else in the hotel to suggest a commitment to green initiatives, so I was left a bit cynical...||Bottom line... No major issues, but no superlatives, either. A cramped, spartan, oddly-designed room that left me wanting more (or paying less). Wouldn't book this property again.

I am writing this review with deep disappointment regarding the discriminatory treatment I experienced from the staff at your hotel's service counter. During my recent stay, I observed a stark and unacceptable contrast in how guests of different nationalities were treated. While the staff interacted with Japanese guests in a gentle and patient manner, their attitude towards me changed immediately and noticeably. I spoke with two separate staff members—one lady and one gentleman. Both were consistently rude, dismissive, and showed a complete lack of patience when I was asking for assistance. This was not a language barrier issue, but a clear difference in tone, body language, and willingness to help. This kind of racial discrimination is utterly unprofessional and has no place in any hospitality establishment, especially a 4-star hotel in Osaka, Japan, which is renowned for its omotenashi (hospitality). I am a guest of both Chinese and Singaporean background, and I expect to be treated with the same dignity and respect as any other customer, regardless of my origin. I hope the hotel management will take this feedback seriously, provide immediate retraining for staff on anti-discrimination and customer service, and ensure all guests receive fair and respectful treatment.

Getting in and out is an issue since the lobby, and check-in, are on the fourth floor and you can only take elevators to get there from the ground floor and the same elevators to get up to your rooms. That said, the rest of the experience was above average. Reasonable rooms, even for a 6'4" frame like mine, and a few of the staff spoke enough broken English we could get by.

Lovely hotel, nice lobby has a good vibe. Helpful staff Bedrooms are great, wet room for shower, large rooms with large twin beds. Only downside it's a bit out of the way of sights, but the metro is a 2 min walk if you want to go further afield.

Stayed for 6 nights over Golden Week. A very decent boutique hotel in a more nondescript part of the city. A short walk from the Nishi-Nagahori and Awaza stations which puts you within commuting distance from central attractions across two lines. The room was small but comfortable, with good natural lighting. I did wish that the window had black-out blinds for days I wanted to sleep it, it would get relatively bright at sunrise. Standard Japanese style bathroom, the toilet bowl is a little small, but manageable. The surrounding area is mostly residential and very quiet, with the added bonus of a well-stocked supermarket downstairs, and a Lawson one street away. Overall a pleasant location to retreat to at the end of the day, it's just rather staid and uninteresting otherwise. One glaring fault though - the WIFI is deathly slow and at times virtually non-existent in the late evenings/nights and in the mornings. I guess during times when more people are in their rooms. Seems to have no issues noon onwards. Hope they fix this. Overall very decent stay by my experience, and an option I'd keep on my radar whenever I'm planning an extended stay in Osaka (a few days or more). If you only have a limited time and need to be closer to attractions, this location would probably not be my first consideration.

Close to Expo and USJ but felt very faraway from everything in town. Rooms were boiling at night despite the air con. The blinds weren’t blackout, so woke up at 6am every day. Quite a basic hotel, didn’t offer a lot.

Only two metro stops from the main attractions. Exit is via 4a and not 4c as Google maps say! Hotel staff were accommodating and friendly. Housekeeping left spare towels and water outside room as I had dnd request. Seems to be a trendy part of town as loads of hipsters and expensive cars parked outside. Food Shopping next door called oasis. Amazing selection of whole foods type items. Cheap. Lawson around the corner for 24 hour items and snacks. Laundry is 600 yen for 2 hour wash and dry on 5th floor. Very handy. Drinks machine also next to washing machine if you don't want to venture out. Pizza restaurant attached to lobby on 5th floor. Very nice atmosphere. Highly recommend. Quiet hotel for family's and friends

Nice and quiet hotel, cute lobby and nice service staff. There’s an amazing supermarket next door that will squash any chance of you wanting to eat exclusively from Konbinis. My only negative feedback is 1. The cleaners would be a little intense about cleaning my room and banging on my door in the morning while I was getting ready but I don’t feel that they really needed to enter my room everyday as they don’t clean it everyday, they were very nice regardless but it would’ve been great if they vacuumed my floors on the days they would do the full clean. 2. As a girl I need two towels! I just will always want two towels and I felt like unless I asked I’d just get one. Otherwise this is a great little vibey hotel away from the crazy hustle and bustle.
