Everything about my stay at Hotel Jackson was perfect. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted by friendly staff (Paul and Mitch) and given some really good ideas of what to do around town. When I wanted to go for a hike, Sherry and Joe lept to my aid, not only providing great suggestions, but also taking my friend and I to Cashmen's Creek (I think), as well as picking us up after our hike. Both Seamus and Brandon were awesome (Seamus had some great suggestions for checking out local breweries and Brandon made every breakfast extra special by giving me almond milk with my coffee).
I can't recommend eating at Figs enough! Super fresh produce, beautiful spices, and very appropriately priced for the quality and quantity of food you'll get. The best bargain (and way to start your day) is the $25 per person breakfast buffet. You can load up on all the protein and carbs you need to enjoy a day of adventure, as well as enjoy some delicious local pastries. If you're not loving what's out, they'll make you something special, although I have to say, their normal spread is world class.
The room is spacious and can comfortably accommodate 2-3 people. This may seem like a little detail, but after getting up very early on east coast time, seeing the nSpresso machine was like a gift from the gods. Every time they cleaned the room, they'd refill any of the espresso capsules you've used, as well as supply fresh water bottles (I always had at least four in the room at any one time, as well as two bottles of sparkling water). I took two showers a day so I could enjoy the L'occitane toiletries and the indulgent bath robes.Know that the you only need to adjust the heat a little bit, as any more than slight turn to the left and you'll have scalding water. The room also comes with a fridge, exceptional blackout curtains, and an electric fireplace.
Upon arrival, you will see a plate of fresh fruit, as well as a note welcoming you to jackson Hole. The fruit did not get replenished, but there were always fresh apples in the lobbies and on each of the floors. In addition, they have spa water and coffee outside the very impressive library. Right past the library is one of the most impressive gyms I've seen in a boutique hotel. While not a huge gym, the machines are first class, and you can absolutely get a great work out in (they'll even bring in a personal trainer). Be sure to check out the hot tub on the third floor (it does close at 8, so depending on the day you may or may not get to do sunset hot tub time).
Thank you Hotel Jackson for making my stay so fantastic!
