Nice hotel in the outskirts of Darmstadt This is one of the really nice options if you coming to Darmstadt. I stayed in most hotel in this town and this is one of the best compared to Maritim, etc. The room was really nice and so was the food. The staff was also welcoming, so all in all a strong recommendation from me. I would definitely use this hotel again.

This property is the ultimate stay! Although we booked it for business, we felt like we were whisked away. The rooms are spacious, the beds and pillows are comfortable and the property surroundings are so relaxing. The service and food were incredible and they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

I've stayed at this hotel before and the rooms are nice, good food and friendly staff. But I won't be staying in future.||I was put in "The Annexe" which I thought was across a courtyard from the main hotel building, however I was to be rudely awakened. It is in a completely different location to the hotel. In fact it's a 10-15 min walk out of the hotel grounds, down a dark busy road then along a dark unlit lane. The building was unlit except for a sole light above the door. On entering, it was like a dark abandoned building, no reception or staff, sparsely lit and only a staircase to get to a handful of rooms. It was like some kind of scary movie. The room was tiny, about the size of our utility room at home. I felt extremely unsafe. This certainly isn't 4 star. Walking down a busy road for breakfast and back to the room is not expected when having to get up early for work meetings.||There should be a warning when booking these rooms. It is mentioned deep on the website when looking into individual rooms, but when booking a 4* business hotel it's not something anyone would lookout for.||Very disappointing, needless to say I swiftly found somewhere else to stay.

I really like this place where to live in this historical building. The museum also the hotel is in a forest. Very good environment, green tresses, grass and fresh air. For the hotel, good service and facilities are good inside room.

Outstanding place to stay staffed by very courteous, helpful people. Beautiful historic location. We walked for hours on peaceful forest trails nearby. Walking distance to nature museum, historical hunting museum, and an easy drive to Messel Pit, Frankenstein Castle ruins, downtown Darmstadt, Wedding Tower, Russian Chapel, Rose Garden, and shopping. On-site restaurant dinner was excellent, and breakfast was the best we experienced in Germany. Room was more spacious than other hotels. Free parking above ground. A great place to unwind. Good choice for business retreats.

The hotel staff is above the rest. Always a pleasant greeting, knowledgeable on the area, and not just willing , but wanting to assist. We were at the end of our 3 month vacation and visiting friends in the area and decided to try the Jagdschloss. The rooms is larger than normal hotel rooms and the bed is very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful in unloading and loading our bags. There is a space near the front door to temporarily park for this purpose. It is a beautiful hotel and the grounds are relaxing to tour or to look at the wildlife. We will return for another visit in the near future. Thank you for your hospitality!

Had a very brief stay here Saturday evening after playing the Golden Leaves Festival on site. What a beautiful hotel with great functionality. Staff seemed nice and it was lovely and clean. Pity we only got a short stop and no chance to have breakfast. One of our group had to stay on and said the breakfast was superb. I can imagine it's a lovely place to stay on a relaxing retreat.

The hotel is beautiful. It was immaculate and prettily decorated for the holidays. Because the restaurant was closed for renovations, the menu was a bit limited, but everyone was professional, friendly and helpful. The mattresses could be a bit more comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay again.
