Hotel Jägerhorn

Fantastic location with great airport pickup option. Staff was very nice. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom well sized with good amenities. Our room was quiet and we were there on a weekend. Breakfast was average. There wasn't an elevator, which was a little difficult but not terrible.

First of all- the people. All of the 3 front staff we encountered from the 26th evening ro the 27th Oct were extremely welcoming, helpful and cheerful. The room we had was the most basic twin as it was for just for a day but it was cosy and the heating was working well for a chilly night. Water pressure was good and the place was clean with comfortable bedding. As we're departing in the morning, a breakfast box was voluntarily offered and a cab booked for us to stop in front of the hotel. This place is close to many good eating places within 500m that open late so food is not an issue. Highly recommended.

A. Wonderfully small hotel but with an absolutely amazing location in the centre of town within 5 minutes. Walk of the Central Square..... I found the front desk very helpful and gave guidance on how to get to different places and the breakfast is very relaxed with freshly squeezed, orange juice and lovely bread.... Rooms were very adequate and very comfortable and the heating in the winter was exceptionally good..... The hotel also has a cafe and the service is very good and it's very cosy with different styles of seatings including sofas and a very wide selection of local drinks international and some amazing hot chocolate.

Beautiful historic boutique hotel with modern comfort. Perfect central location, quiet atmosphere, and excellent service. Rooms are cozy and clean, and breakfast on the terrace is a highlight. A great choice for anyone visiting Zagreb.

Brilliant experience at the Hotel Jagerhorn. Excellent location close to many central attractions. Spotlessly clean, good sized rooms along with a delicious breakfast. But the best bit? The wonderful staff at the front desk, particularly Davor who booked us a table at a different restaurant every evening of our stay. He listened carefully to what type of food we wanted along with fhe price bracket and then booked us a table, which was of course spot on every time. Well done Hotel Jagerhorn, you nailed it!

Nice hotel in a great location. Parking was also a plus. The desk staff was mixed. The person who checked us in was very friendly, but upon check out in the morning, the other person barely made eye contact with us and was not at all engaging. We also did not quite appreciate that they "suggested" a 5 euro tip from us to add to the bill. We never had this heavy handed tipping trick anywhere else during on trip in Croatia.

We had recently spent two relaxing nights at the Hotel Jagerhorn.||If you, like us, were driving to Zagreb and require a parking space, I will suggest that you get the address of the car park from the hotel in advance, as it is located one block away. Traffic in that area is always heavy.||The hotel itself is in the pedestrianised zone. On our check in day we had a hard time locating the hotel as the Christmas decor had partly covered the hotel’s name. The hotel’s entrance is a discreet glass door inside an arch passageway filled with little shops.||We had an attic room on the second floor. This means part of the roof sloped downwards. I had to remind myself to look out for the sloping ceiling.||The room itself is not big, but clean and comfortable, well heated and comes with the usual amenities.||There is no lift in this hotel so if you have a heavy luggage bag you will have to carry it yourself.||Breakfast is buffet style with a decent selection.||The location of the hotel is excellent: walking distance to the Christmas Market and Upper Town. There is a laundromat about 750m away. It’s in a very walkable area.||On the Sunday morning during our visit part of the Main Street was closed and turned into a Sunday Market. It’s fun to see what items were on sale as it appeared to cater mainly to the locals.||Overall we had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Jagerhorn.

Great location, close to garage parking, excellent courtyard, breakfast included. Room was nice, but no AC. Window was closed upon check in, so it was 28°C when I arrived. Bathroom is nice but shower is very small. Main door from street closes at night. Buzzer will open it. As a courtesy, they also accepted a package for me well before my check in so that I could pick it up when I checked in. This was great as the package could only be delivered to an EU address.
