Nice modern hotel just 10 min walking to hondarribia old town.. parking on site, light breakfast. Peaceful area ..recommended to rent a car if you want to visit basque country Friendly and attentive personnel on reception and restaurant are remarkable

We stayed here with a group of friends and discovered that we were charged double the price for the exact same rooms — same dates, same booking conditions. There’s zero price transparency, and when we raised the issue, the manager was extremely aggressive and defensive, refusing to engage in any kind of respectful conversation. We paid €400 per night, and still there was no coffee in the room, no housekeeping between nights, and the staff was consistently rude and unhelpful. At this price point, the lack of basic service is unacceptable. There are plenty of far better options in Hondarribia for a fraction of the price, where you’ll be treated with basic courtesy. We would absolutely not recommend this hotel!

Really lovely hotel with helpful staff. We ran up to Hondarriba with limited time from San Sebastián and wish we had another day or two to explore the area! We will come back and will bookmark the Hotel Jaizkibel

Very disappointing – not worth the price. I honestly don’t understand the positive reviews for this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were cold and unwelcoming. The room smelled musty, the bedding was uncomfortable and clearly not clean (stains on the sheets), and housekeeping had clearly been rushed—there were hairs in the shower and the trash hadn’t been emptied. Noise was another big issue: the walls are paper-thin, and we could hear every word from the room next door. For the price we paid, we expected a much better standard of service and comfort. Unfortunately, this stay was a big letdown. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

What a great stay we had! Oihana at the reception is just brilliant! The room was cozy and the bar had amazing food. Looking forward to come back!

Really overpriced, not worth it, 0 facilities, not even coffee in the room or cleaning between the nights and on top of it - rude staff - do not recommend !
