My father and I, had a wonderful vacation. |Everything was perfect, from the view, weather and ofcourse the wonderful staff. ||We had a week of good memories with 5 tennis courts, which we played on every day. We also played padel which was really fun. ||The food was fantastic with many good variations, and many options. Always very happy and fun waiters who had a blast and quick with service. ||Yesser who worked at the reception made the whole stay even more wonderful. He had a happy mindset and asked many questions about how we were doing. ||I’m already planning on coming back to the hotel next year, that time will be with my girlfriend! ||So thank you very much to all the staff of Hotel Jardin, for making many good memories and a fantastic week.

We travelled to the canary islands for the first time and also our first time being in la gomera. The hotel is absolutely amazing with an exceptional beautiful scenery close to the sea. Not too crowded, a calm and peaceful place. If your into plants or greenery it's really the place! The staff was friendly and respectful. We were 2 hijabi women and it felt safe being at the hotel and at the island. The hotel has a pool and there is a beach at santiago and another one close by. The hotel also have tours on the island which we joined (to el cedro) - absolutely breathtaking nature. The buffet also had a wide range of options - the vegetarian options were wide and we didn't feel left out. All in all an amazing experience in a beautiful place! ✨️ Definitely somewhere worth returning to!

Our go to hotel in La Gomera has recently undergone a renovation, which has positives and negatives. The large swimming pool which is now all one depth, is no longer shaded by the beautiful large plants at what was the deep end. There is now an eyesore of a play tower in the children’s pool. The paths have been resurfaced and some steps now have proper hand rails which all feels much safer. The beautiful gardens seem to be missing some iconic plants, I hope these grow back. For first time visitors the gardens are still beautiful but they were horticulturally better before. |In reception the Public Relations team now have desk rather than their large office (now a games room). Our club membership welcome statement was not in our room upon arrival, they blamed the fact that we did not book direct, even though I emailed them before our arrival. I have emailed twice about an item I left in my room but they have not replied.|The dining room is now much lighter, the clearing stations are now hidden behind tiled walls. There are friendly familiar faces in the dining room and at reception but there are some new floor managers in the restaurant, with some of the previous managers now in less senior roles (one of them now works in the gardens and looks much happier!). All staff are polite and always greet you. Water bottles can be filled at breakfast, still and sparkling (when the gas works) but no other time of day. Bottled water is sold in the hotel shop, for a price.|There used to be a separate area of rooms on Jacaranda and Pino de Oro in which no smoking was allowed, unfortunately the new management have done away with this, for a hotel that prides itself on health and wellbeing and sustainability I feel this is a backward step.

Very satisfied with the stay and very fascinated by La Gomera in general. A big shoutout to staff Roque, Luiz, Ruiz and Amundsen for making us feel welcome, attained to and giving us tips. The hotel itself is beautiful, big pools, amazing views, nice and new amenities, great beach club and a good restaurant selection. Rooms: beautiful rooms, with great balcons, ocean view from different levels, large bathroom, beds were okay, and nothing to be upset about. Cleaning: efficient and fast cleaning. Food: the food differs from okay to great. I would say that the risottos and pizzas from the beach club are the best. From our experience, Jardin Tacina is a place where you come to relax. No loud music at the pools, and don’t even think about disturbing the balcony bird song with a JBL speaker. Play some tennis, some golf, and relax at the beach club.

What a wonderful return visit to one of our favourite hotels! Beautifully refurbished yet retaining the charm and character which have brought us back here numerous times over the last 32 years. As always, we were wonderfully looked after by all staff but have to give special mention to Merry, Fransisco and Miguel in the main restaurant who always worked so hard with the brightest of smiles and to Kai, Gustavo and Miguel (again) serving us impeccably with the most delicious food down at the Club Laurel restaurant. The beautiful and talented Anne-Tina continues to entertain with her wonderful piano playing and fun music quiz. Fabulous tennis facilities. Thank you Hotel Jardin Tecina for a fabulous holiday. We return home with our batteries fully re-charged and with smiles on our faces.

We had high expectations for Hotel Jardin Tecina given its reputation and high nightly rate, but unfortunately, we left disappointed.||Evenings at the hotel were dull and uneventful. Apart from the occasional singer or someone playing the piano, there was no entertainment or atmosphere. There were no visible animation staff and absolutely no music in the common areas – it felt lifeless.||The food was another letdown. While it was decent over the weekend when the hotel was busier, the quality noticeably dropped as soon as the crowds left. The variety and taste simply didn’t meet expectations. It was also shocking that in such a warm climate, water wasn’t included with dinner or by the pool – it had to be purchased, which felt petty and inappropriate for a hotel in this price range.||The only advantage of the hotel is its location on a slope, which is quite impressive. The room conditions are clean and nicely maintained.

Yelp
In a nutshell: beautiful place right at the La Gomera coastline with breathtaking views over the sea and Playa Santiago. Hotel is laid out with rows of little apartments in a park like setup. Room categories differ by the "view to the sea". Simple rule, the better view = the higher category. Staff is friendly and helpful. However the food regime is not up to the rest. There is not a lot in the vicinity, so you might tend to go for half board or just eat on site. The main restaurant offers the flair of a hospital canteen, is noisy and loaded with masses of guests at peak hours and the food is European mainstream at lower quality level. There are options to upgrade to one of the four theme restaurants on premise, but even they wouldn't rank high in my option. Final remark: the WiFi totally sucks and gives you an authentic 80th experience. Summary: go there for a real tranquility trip, enjoy the island, have a rental at hand and eat outside.
