Hotel Jasmine Jayapura

A warm welcome since entering the lobby, along with the authentic local smile from the hotel staff. I was here for some international meeting, got to know this hotel by the booking channel offered a very competitive price than the others. It was an exact decision to chose this hotel i think. Got the room with the fantastic sea view, and thanks to the General Manager, Mr. Made Witra that offered me and the team a free room upgrade. Mostly the staff are very friendly, the local cuisine providing by the hotel's are taste great. i think i will recommend this hotel to my business colleague.

Stay in this hotel on Monday, 11 Sept 2017 for 1 night stay.||The receptionist gave me the room in 6th Floor, which located inside the ATM center building. The housekeeping staff is helpful by appointing me to the room and even turn on the tv and make sure the room is comfortable to stay in.||Overall experience is good. The room looks old, need some renovation. ||Room amenities is complete, and hot shower is running well. ||Breakfast concern, the fried rice is no more in chafing dish. The waitress informed me that it is still re-cooking. I wait for 15 minutes but still not available. ||If you look for a medium-price budget, this hotel is one of the options.

this is my first time to jayapura. i travel together with my staff who frequetly visit this city and he booked me for this hotel. the hotel is quite fair for its rate, the room also quite spacey. frontliners were so helpfull and nice. then the bad thing happened. the towel is not clean enough, hot water were very slow to get in and no window in my room. this is one of the oldest hotel in this city. and located almost at city centre. i hope they can inprove their cleanliness in the future. by the way there are a lot good hotel nearby if you have extra budget.

I stayed in Yasmin for 3 nights and I think it's not recommended hotel since I found many problem with the room, facilities and staff. I got the superior room with the expensive rate in first night, but the second night i got 30% cheaper because I have Garuda Indonesia boarding pass, and unfortunately the staff doesn't inform me before. The wifi doesn't work, I've complained three times but it haven't fixed

Wow I am just 100% like this hotel with it's very fast WiFi services best breakfast compliments compare to other nearby hotels

I stayed at Yasmin hotel only a night during my two weeks business trip in Jayapura. The room rate is affordable and cheaper than the 4-star hotel near it. The service is fair enough. The food at the restaurant is not too bad. However, at that moment, I was unhappy because my room was not clean enough. It was a little bit smelly. Perhaps because my room is in the old building.

I was missing steak and lonely planet recommended this place so I went. It is the worst steak I have ever been served. It is certainly not Australian sirloin, it looked mashed, it was covered in some sort of spicy marinade that I was not anticipating from the menu, there was a rock in the vegetables and the chips were burnt or cooked in old oil, I am not sure, but they were the best of the worst. The photo is how the steak looked when served, like it looked pre eaten and spat out. BIG FAIL YASMIN.

Stayed here for a week, unfortunately they gave me a room in a rear of the building right beside the hill which has no view at all. I found out from the meeting room at 7th floor, Yasmin has a very nice view of Jayapura's cityscape. So be sure to book a city view room rather than my hill side room. However the room was tidy and clean, food was ok, staffs were hospitable and nice.||Located in the heart of Jayapura's commercial district, KFC is in front of the hotel lobby, some ATMs are nearby, Gramedia bookstore is just 5 minutes walk, and some supermarkets are also there in the neighborhood.||Overall, it's a value for money hotel.
