We were three families and we stayed in the last week of Dec. The property is small and has a homely feel to it. It has a history attached to it and it's evident across the hotel. Rooms are big (we stayed on first floor), everything is clean and nice. The bed itself was big and comfortable. Minor issue was the loud train honking in the night and a family with two kids playing some kind of games outside our room at 11:30 in the night distubed our sleep. The latter is luck and can't be blamed on the hotel though.||Since it's a small property, the resources are limited. The guy who carries your luggage, also serves as a server at the restaurant, for example. There was a decent waiting period at the restaurant, despite the fact that we were the only people there. Having said that, we had ordered a variety of food and that too in some quantity. The taste and quality of food itself was pretty good.||People overall were nice. The two elderly (probably) owners were very amicable. Our children were tempted to pluck the only two oranges on their plant and we were not letting them. One of the uncles walked up and told the kids to pluck. They even guided us with the route to the nearby Bhandasar temple. ||The gentleman at the front-desk, possibly the son of the onwer was overall nice, however, there was a minor incident which I wish he avoided. In the morning, our families were having breakfast at their restaurant, Aplenty food was ordered. The three of us men went to Chotu Motu Joshi to try their poori-sabzi and on the way back brought three kachoris for the ladies. And we offered them those at the open-air seating area of the restaurant. The man walked up to me and told, "Sir, outside food is not allowed here." I immediately apologised. It's all good so far. However, he repeated the same line with slightly more firmness. This wasn't needed really. We spent 7.5K on food there and didn't have to be lectured on three outside kachoris. Left a tiny bit of bad taste in mouth.||Overall a very pleasant non-hotel kind of stay and a property highly recommended.
