Hotel Javy

I stayed here with my family in August for one week. It's a beautiful small quiet hotel located in the heart of everything, so lots of places nearby. Breakfast was gallo pinto, toast, eggs, and delicious fresh fruit juice every morning with choice of tea/coffee :) Rooms were good, the only thing I would say is that they should add lamps and a kettle if guests want something hot to drink at night, but staff will provide for you if asked. Thank you so much to Keisy and Harlem who are so kind and helpful, and who speak great English! Thanks for letting me practice my Spanish with you two :) This place is cozy, and in one week it became so familiar. I miss you Hotel Javy, and thank you to everyone here for making our stay so amazing! Pura Vida :)

Staff were amazing and provided great information about tours and all the details to make my stay the most consistent. Breakfast was incredibly delicious, I had my coffee black and it was incredible, the fresh passion fruit juice was amazing, and the pickled cabbage just complimented my meal so well. The rooms were very clean and appropriate for the high-humidity of the area. There was enclosed parking and the property felt very safe. I walked about 5-7min for a mini soda for dinner. The property has fig trees and foliage all around.

Super cute and adorable place. Rooms are clean and comfortable . The personnel is super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is home made and super delicious. Great place to stay if you are traveling to or through Liberia.

Needed a place near the hospital and Hotel Javy fit the bill. Clean, comfortable room. Breakfast included. Secure parking. Very friendly and helpful staff.|Not far from downtown Liberia. Walkable in 20 minutes or a few minutes drive. Near the stadium.

We spent a lovely night here and will definitely be back. Great price for the cleanliness, service and safety of the rooms. The beds are comfortable, the area is very quiet and calm and the grounds are beautiful, just loved the trees and atmosphere and decor. The staff are very attentive and kind and the breakfast included was really great - I keep dreaming about the fresh juice and sausage! We could have honestly stayed several nights and enjoyed it. Also had fun meeting great people in the lobby each day. And the staff arranged us a taxi to the airport. It’s about a 20 minute drive and cost $30, which was perfect for us. Will definitely be back!

Stayed at Hotel Javy for our last 2 days in Costa Rica. The hotel is in walking distance to a nice outdoor burger place at a park as well as convenience stores, otherwise its out of the way and quiet. The room was spacious, the air con was good, the shower worked well and had a place to hang clothes to dry. The fridge worked great and it was easy to get food delivered to the location. The staff were friendly and we communicated mostly on WhatsApp. The staff also arranged our taxi for an early morning flight. The outdoor eating area was nice for meeting other travellers and resting.

Really appreciated how communicative the staff were before we arrived. They were also very friendly and helpful! The parking is gated but pretty tight, so if you have a big car, be aware that it's a very tiny lot. The room was clean, the only thing is that it smelled a bit musty as though it needed to be aired, but it wasn't dirty. Nice location!
