Hotel Javy

I stayed here with my family in August for one week. It's a beautiful small quiet hotel located in the heart of everything, so lots of places nearby. Breakfast was gallo pinto, toast, eggs, and delicious fresh fruit juice every morning with choice of tea/coffee :) Rooms were good, the only thing I would say is that they should add lamps and a kettle if guests want something hot to drink at night, but staff will provide for you if asked. Thank you so much to Keisy and Harlem who are so kind and helpful, and who speak great English! Thanks for letting me practice my Spanish with you two :) This place is cozy, and in one week it became so familiar. I miss you Hotel Javy, and thank you to everyone here for making our stay so amazing! Pura Vida :)

Hotel Javy is the best. I'm in Costa Rica for a cycling trip and Javy made the perfect starting location. Harlem and Kimberly stored my bags for me and we're perfect hosts. Breakfast is delicious. I'm looking forward to returning.

Very clean room, good bedding and great breakfast. Smaller hotel great for a night or two. Can be loud in city but the hotel and staff does their best to make as comfortable as possible

Perfect hotel for a one night stop before going to rincon de la vieja. Extra clean (bed sheet, towels, room and bathroom), service super nice, very good breakfast. I recommend

Super cute and adorable place. Rooms are clean and comfortable . The personnel is super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is home made and super delicious. Great place to stay if you are traveling to or through Liberia.

Rooms were minimal but very clean, gated hotel so felt safe. Breakfast was delicious and the service was wonderful. Definitely recommend

Staff were amazing and provided great information about tours and all the details to make my stay the most consistent. Breakfast was incredibly delicious, I had my coffee black and it was incredible, the fresh passion fruit juice was amazing, and the pickled cabbage just complimented my meal so well. The rooms were very clean and appropriate for the high-humidity of the area. There was enclosed parking and the property felt very safe. I walked about 5-7min for a mini soda for dinner. The property has fig trees and foliage all around.

We spent a lovely night here and will definitely be back. Great price for the cleanliness, service and safety of the rooms. The beds are comfortable, the area is very quiet and calm and the grounds are beautiful, just loved the trees and atmosphere and decor. The staff are very attentive and kind and the breakfast included was really great - I keep dreaming about the fresh juice and sausage! We could have honestly stayed several nights and enjoyed it. Also had fun meeting great people in the lobby each day. And the staff arranged us a taxi to the airport. It’s about a 20 minute drive and cost $30, which was perfect for us. Will definitely be back!
