The location is awesome, you can actually see Jeronimo’s Monastery out the window! You have a lot of things to see and do nearby at walking distance. Our room was great, huge and very clean. The breakfast is amazing and you get individually wrapped Pastéis de Belém from the bakery with the long waiting line. We love it here and will definitely come back.

Very well located, rooms are fine

Location is great for touring Belem district but it’s a bit far from the Alfama Neighborhood. Staff were helpful. Hadn’t any negative experience and loved the Pastel de Belem which is delivered from the famous Pastéis de Belém.

Hotel in need of renovation. Hall carpet is dirty and rising off the floor. Room was small, bathroom shower difficult to enter and exit. Room carpet was filthy. Safe did not work when I checked in on Saturday, told by staff need to wait until Monday. Never was able to use the safe. Breakfast buffet was adequate. Appreciate the pastelis included.

This hotel is in a great location, right across to the Jeronimos Monestary in Belem. Breakfast was incredible- so much to choose from, fresh and delicious. King size bed was comfortable. However, furniture and other decor is dated and shows lots of wear. Bathroom, though clean, was dark (it was hard to see to put makeup on) and showers are not really easy to get in and out of a you have to step up to get into it and down of course to get out. Even with a safety handle it's slippery (and I have the bruise to prove it). Staff was courteous and friendly. I feel the pictures are nice than the rooms actually look

This place is located in the heart of tourist spots in Belem. Attractions such as Belem. Castle and Jeronimos monastry are walking distance, with excellent connectivity to other parts of city via trams and buses that stop right outside the hotel. The staff are very friendly and courteous, catering to guests needs. Breakfast is ok. Rooms are smaller than standard rooms for a 4* hotel. Also things like press iron are not available in room and need to be requested from front desk. The biggest con that we noticed in our room is the bathtub which is slippery and one needs to be really careful when stepping out. Hope they can fix the bathtub slippage. Overall great place to stay if one is intending to stay close to attractions in Belem area.

Excellent staff and wonderful location. Rooms are fine, not spectacular, but have ask the essentials. Breakfast is fresh and with great variety each morning. Thoroughly loved my stay.

Dirty carpets in the rooms and hallway make this hotel disappointing. We also had dirty walls.The common areas are fine and the breakfast is decent, but room service doesn’t vacuum which only makes the dirty carpets worse. It is definitely not worth the money.

Avoid. This hotel did not refund $1500 or hotel fees after checking out on the first day due to the unsavory conditions of the hotel.
