Hotel Jewel of Chembur

The service is very poor, the quality of service does not justify the price. Even the extra water bottles are chargeable at above market price. The rooms are very small and the hallways are scary (very dim lighting, which works with sensors). The lift was not working and the complimentary food was cold.

My recent stay at this hotel was a letdown, especially considering the price I paid. The room quality was subpar, and I'd say OYO rooms offer better value for money. Upon check-in, I was told that breakfast would be available at the 1st-floor restaurant. However, the next morning, I was informed that breakfast was being served in-room instead. What followed was a makeshift breakfast setup—no table, no chairs, and not even a spoon to eat with. It felt like an afterthought. The overall experience was disappointing. If you're considering staying here, I'd advise doing your research and reading other reviews carefully before making a decision. It might save you from a similar experience.

Decent Rooms, Quite helpful staff, Locality is good and the market nearby has everything that you need. Food is also good and nearby food options are also good. Parking seems limited for own vehicle and they might be keeping your keys for parking arrangements.

We went for the rooftop party. The space is good for occasions like office parties and birthday parties. It’s not that a big space, but the food is good, especially the starters. It did have quite a few drinks to offer, including breezers and beer. They also played music for us to dance throughout the night. Locating the washroomwas a little difficult as it made us, enter a hotel rooms to use one. The staff is very organised and sweet.

I attended a wedding at Jewel of Chembur while traveling from the US, and my experience was absolutely incredible. The terrace (used for the reception and sangeet) was beautifully set up, and the decorations were truly the highlight of my time here. There is also a smaller Jewel Room that can seat around 60 for the haldi. Every detail—from the elegant floral arrangements to the stunning table setups—was executed flawlessly. The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch, making the entire event even more enjoyable. Huge shoutout to the decorators who transformed the space so beautifully—they were the best part of my experience in Mumbai! Would highly recommend this venue for anyone hosting an event.

Nice and warm hospitality. Clean and tidy rooms, nice food. Located on the main road itself, but a bit tricky to find the entrance. Be sure to contact them before if you’re bringing your vehicle as parking space is limited.
