Hotel Jezero

The highlight for this hotel is it's location, right next to Bohinj Lake. It really is a beautiful area. There's two sections to the hotel, what I assume to be the original building, along side the road and and extension where I was staying. All rooms have balconies, mine was over looking a crazy golf course and beyond that, the lake. There was also a family of herons nesting in the tree opposite. The room itself was large and very clean. The bed was comfortable with extra blankets and pillows if you need. Yes, it can get hot in the room due to the lack of air conditioning but, it's so quiet, I left the door and window open without any problems. The food is fantastic with some really interesting things to choose from. Shark was a highlight for me! Local wine is freely available at dinner along with Tuborg beer, soft drinks and water. The staff are lovely and so friendly. Needless to say, they all speak fantastic English. I also heard German being spoken also.

A good place for a lunch, the food is good. The servers are only slow with coming to your table and taking your order. The place itself is spacious and a lot of light enters through the glass roof, so that is very nice. The hotel is perfectly located close to the lake.

The location is fantastic. Directly on the shore of the lake with views across the lake and also towards the mountains. Extremely friendly staff. The hotel is a little dated in terms of decor but it is very clean and it has everything that one needs, certainly for a short stay. We only stayed here for one night. I'm not sure if my back would have coped with that mattress for longer than that. If you are in the region and seek a nice place to stay, then certainly consider it

Very nice Service, rooms are simple but clean and have everything you need. Location is great! Directly by the lake 👍. Restaurant has great cakes and very nice local fish. Try the Slovenian white wines 😉

It was our second stay at Hotel Jezero – and honestly, it just keeps getting better. We stayed in Room 115, and the view from this room is unforgettable. You’re literally waking up right above Lake Bohinj – the closest you can possibly stay to the water. It's the best room view in Bohinj, hands down.||Our first visit was in January, when the lake was covered in mist and snow – quiet, serene, like a dream in soft greys and whites. This time, in May, everything was green, blooming, and full of life. From our bed, we watched the morning sun touch the mountain slopes and light up the lake. Mist rising, wooden boats drifting out - incredible.||Having our coffee with that view was pure bliss.||Bled may be famous, but Bohinj – especially this exact spot – is soul-deep magic. The peacefulness, the connection with nature, the beauty all around…||The staff were warm and helpful, the spa was a lovely touch, and right next to the hotel you’ll find boat rentals, rafting, excursions, and everything you need for a full experience.||We’re already dreaming of our next stay.

Ideal accomodation for a visite around Boginj. Lake and the city of Bled, peak Vogel and Savica waterfall is just a couple of minutes by car. Lake Bohinj and surrounding mountains are beautiful. Rooms are well cleand and spacious even for 3 people, and have a great view on the lake. Kitchen is perfect, it is fully recomended to have breakfast, launch or dinner in the hotel.

Jezero is the archetypical touristic place hotel. Rooms are quite standard and ok, staff is neutrally polite. The view on the lake is of course beautiful. The food in the buffet restaurant is quite pricey for a sub-average quality. (There is also an a la carte restaurant, which I didn't try).

It's a great location, and it was clean and comfortable. The balcony was nice and breakfast was ok. The staff were not very friendly (checkin especially) and the hotel space on general is lacking in much personality. Would stay somewhere else if we returned.
