The interiors of this small hotel are charming and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped with a tv, small fridge and even soaps and shampoo in the bathroom. There are even motion sensors on the stairs and a terrace for a great view of the city and the beautiful garden next door. Everything is clean and well kept and the location is easy to find (just outside of the Bab Boujloud). My only quibble is with the breakfast--not included in the 320 DH price until a bit of discussion. The lemsemen-type bread was stale and hard and the orange juice was not fresh (tangerines are in season right now!). The coffee was great, however. The staff could work on their charisma!

We stayed here while visiting Fes. With good rates, this hotel is situated at walking distance (5min) of the Medina (hence the rating). The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast was okay, but nothing special. We also booked a guide for the medina but would not recommend to do this through the hotel. The guide rushed through the medina going from shop to shop, leaving us there with the shop owners to pick us up and continue. He did not wait for us when we took longer while looking around or taking a picture. I would recommend getting a guide, just not through the hotel.

Decorative, clean, good aircon, adequate breakfast. Just outside the medina and very close to a main gateway so it was convenient and felt safe to walk back at night. Partly overlooks some nice walled gardens. Service is fine although not especially welcoming. Prices depend on bargaining, as ever.

It was really good choice I made. The hotel is in calm area opposite the entrance to the garden Jnane Sbile so I had a nice view of the wall. It was really good place also for it was located between Fes el Bali and Fes Jdid so I had close to both parts of Fes. Plus close to Mellah which is interesting to see, although it is a bit ruined now.||I came to the hotel earlier than I announced and room was not ready yet, but they were so nice that they did it in order really quickly so I could move in almost immediately. The room was small but perfectly fine and comfortable also.||Wifi worked perfect also.||Staff was nice and helpful, and so there is nothing on the whole hotel I can complain about. I would leave the hotel early in the morning for my flight was 6:00 in the morning and even this worked very nicely, taxis was already waiting for me so everything flowed smoothly.||That said close to el Bali so at night it was easy to go and eat at several restaurants at Bab Boujloud.||So if I'm going to Fes again, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The best hotel in the city where you can stay without any worries. We hosted a very delicious cultural breakfast here. The hosts are very nice and kind. The rooms are very clean and airy.

Stayed here for two nights as part of an intrepid trip. The loos were very smelly and basic. Location is great. Staff friendly and delicious breakfast. There is a nice roof terrrace with a cemetery one end and a park on the other end.

Clean A-C rooms and good beds, excellent location in front of main entrance of Jnane Sbile Jardin and Bab Boujloud. Safe and reasonably quiet street. Staff could learn a lot about hospitality. Host was still asleep when breakfast was allready supposted to be served. When not included, don't have breakfast here, it is quite poor.

The room smelled of sewer, so y poo u begin by airing out the bathroom. The plumbing did not work and something tells me it never does work from reading the other reviews. The toilet does not fill up and so it doesn't flush.. awful. We told one staff member and he said he would discount the room and get it fixed for us that day. That time came and passed.. and still no repairs the next day. When came time for the discount it was denied.. we paid full price for a smelly room without a functional toilet. I won't even go on about the activity on the streets outside your window.. good luck getting to sleep early. Avoid the hassle, and book elsewhere .
