You're better off sleeping in a tent!!! Came here after seeing how great the rooms looked like and the river-side view, when I arrived I was instantly disappointed. The rooms were incredibly smelly, old and still had the ugly yugoslav-era decor, creaky furniture and dirty carpet floor and wallpaper peeling off of the wall. The bathroom was atrocious, the door has no lock, shower didn't work properly and sprayed water in every direction, there was no ventilation so it got incredibly humid inside very fast. There was also an odd nasty smell there, couldn't really figure out what was causing it. The beds were ok, clean as they should be and somewhat comfortable. Also the room has no locking mechanisms at the main door besides the electronic one which can fail at certain times, I hold even mention that the lock that existed already was severely damaged. The hotel breakfast was pretty bad, either very greasy food or undercooked. Pretty disappointing honestly, not coming back here ever again.

The rooms need a update especially room 449 , the bathroom wasn't nice, takes ages for you to regulate the water for the shower approx 10 minutes .. The paint was peeling from the walls in the entrance to the room. Towels are slightly off white !! The reception Manager was lovely & pleasant that's the reason for 5 stars, I would have given them 2 stars for all the other reception staff, the other staff on the reception would benefit by taking a leaf out of her book & smile & welcome there customers & not make them feel like a hindrence ... Location was suitable for our business trip...

The hotel is super old, we didn’t have lamps in our room, the shower was dirty and broken. Some of the people we stayed with found bed bugs in their room. The parking behind the hotel looks as if it’s from Chernobyl. Very bad experience at all. The only good thing about the hotel was the food at breakfast.

No no no no no, and no! 😅😅😅 Only who wants to suffer for those people. Super dirty room oh my God... super cold in the room... Nice view tho, but what to do with that with all those other horrible experiences. I would like to mention one positive thing, that we went to reception nicely to say sorry but we would like not to stay in this hotel, and we explained why. The girl was very nice and understanding, she tried to offer their best quality room for free of charge and to help. Her behavior was nice, and positive.

I stayed with a 14pax group at Hotel Jugoslavija between May 25th and May 31st and it was a pretty difficult experience. The Hotel is in dire need of care and renovation, and the staff is overall unhelpful and in constant bad humour. The rooms and toilets are plain dirty, the smell of tobacco is deeply embedded into the old carpets and there is a decadent sense all over. Out of our 14 rooms, we had several issues arising: I had a roach in my room on my 2nd night (which I had to kill myself, because the phone to the reception was not working), 3 showers were not working (water in every direction but the one you would expect), 5 of us needed to shower in cold water all throughout our stay, the blackout curtains are not sufficiently blackout, all toilets were really unclean and, worst of all, one of our colleagues caught bed bugs and was dealing with a severe allergic reacion for over one week (and spent over 200€ desinfesting her home). On a more positive point, breakfast is plentiful, though really unsuitable for vegetarians (which is my case), as 90% of all items served contain meat. Beds were confortable enough and sheets and towels appeared to be clean. I do not recommend.

Dirty rooms, very old hotel, no upgrades except reception. Good location. Nice staff. Will never stay there again. Shame to rent, book, such a place.

Communist-era big hotel, old-fashioned rooms for quite cheap prices and elaborate breakfast, although everything very greasy and salty and the water to make tea wasn't really hot. Great location right by the Danube and easy walking distance to Zemun.

Avoid at all costs!! If you want a normal and cheap room to stay DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. The rooms were so dirty and the bathroom water was orange and very dirty. The walls had snots and the wifi was so bad that I couldn't even open Instagram. Even though the windows were closed, somehow the room was so cold, me and my friends barely didn't got sick. The view on our room was just disgusting and the power strip was full of spider webs.
