Hotel Julian

From the moment we arrived, we knew we'd chosen the right hotel! We were warmly greeted with a glass of spirits of our choice while Marcella gave us an overview of the city and our stay. The whole vibe of the hotel is cozy, comfortable and elegant but not stuffy. Our room was fantastic! Huge with high ceilings, large windows, and lots of floor space with every amenity you could want. Although we faced the busy street, we could barely hear the traffic--the rooms were well soundproofed. We especially enjoyed the robes, in-room coffee maker and kettle and the heated towel rack in the bathroom. Our favorite part of the hotel was the expansive breakfast buffet which we enjoyed in the library each morning. It was by far the best hotel breakfast we've ever had! And the afternoon tea in the library every day was a welcome break in our day and a beautiful space to read and play cards in. We were a bit concerned the location was too far from the main attractions, but it was actually perfect and we were thankful not to be in the crowded, touristy area. It was a beaufiful 25 min. walk to the Old Town Square, mostly along the river. Highly recommend this lovely hotel!

The Hotel Julian was an excellent place to stay. It is about a 15 minute easy and picturesque walk to the center of town. The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable and offers a nice breakfast buffet.||Our room was lovely, very spacious and well appointed. Our view was to the street in front of the hotel and the windows blocked all noise. The bed was very comfortable and the daily housekeeping was nice. The bathroom was fairly large with a nice sized vanity. We had a towel warmer that worked better than any we've ever had - perfect not only for our towels but also for drying out some of our clothes. Lots of closet space was another plus.||The staff was excellent - very helpful and always available. We appreciated the umbrellas as we had a couple days of rain. The surrounding neighborhood had lots of restaurants and some nice up-scale shopping.||If you don't think you have to be right in the center of town, then this is definitely the place to stay!

I had a wonderful time at Hotel Julian, which was in no small part due to the amazing folks who work here! I was perhaps most impressed by Marcela and Petr from the front desk. Both are very patient and kind souls and were incredibly helpful throughout my 3-day stay. And I thoroughly enjoyed the many conversations we shared! The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, yet within walking distance of Charles Bridge and other major attractions in Prague. I will definitely recommend Hotel Julian to others going forward!

Excellent all around! The location was perfect - close to transport and to where things are happening but quiet and not ultra busy so you can rest after a full day. The staff was friendly and professional. Shout out to Marcella who had great recommendations all around and who truly cared about client experience. (She actually followed up to find out how to hinga worked out.) Rooms were big. Hotel decor is charming. Breakfast was superb. Outstanding value. My son and I had the best experience - Bravo Hotel Julian!

This was a fantastic place for my friend and I to stay on our trip to Prague. The hotel staff were easy to work and communicate with. The beds were comfortable and the room location was great for us in that we didn’t hear any traffic. In the room itself it looked like they were currently working on repairing some small areas but it was still clean and didn’t bother us at all. The location was perfect in that it was right next to a transit stop (max 3 min walk). It only took about 7 mins to get to where ever we wanted via transit. The breakfast was great as well. Had a large variety of options in our opinion. They have parking spots which we utilized one night, just make sure to reserve in advance and does cost a little extra since they don’t have a lot of space. Definitely would recommend transit over driving yourself in downtown Prague. Overall a great place to stay. Would definitely book there again.

The room was spacious and included 2 comfy chairs, desk, and table. The bathroom was roomy and clean. The breakfast was awesome every morning and had something to please anyone. I enjoyed the croissants and specialty pastries that I don't regularly eat, along with the many choices of meats, eggs, and other breakfast essentials. I have now stayed here twice and recommend this hotel whole-heartedly!

This hotel was booked for us as part of a rail holiday and it ticked all the boxes for an amazing time. Located out of the city centre but near a tramline, this gem of a place is in a great neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and shops. We were greeted by Marcela who was really welcoming, explaining everything we needed to know both in the hotel and in the surrounding area. A welcome drink in the beautifully decorated library started our stay really well. The room was clean and had everything we needed, the breakfast had something for all tastes with the the two members of staff working in there making it so relaxing and friendly. We loved everything and it will definitely be our hotel of choice when we are next in Prague

Just home after a fantastic trip to Prague and Hotel Julian. What can I say but fantastic stay the room or suite up in the attic was fabulous. We had plenty of space and comfort everything was perfect. The breakfast was first class. The area was perfect and last but by no means less the staff were friendly and helpful they were exceptional...I would highly recommend Hotel Julian to friends and family and I hope to return.
