Hotel Julian

I chose this hotel based on many positive reviews. We came at around 2pm, one hour earlier than check-in time. But the room was already prepared for us and we could check-in earlier. While checking-in the reception manager the young lady offered us complimentary drinks, we could chose either juice, prosecco or coffee. She also gave us a map of Prague and suggested best ways to reach the Christmas Market and Old castle. The hotel offers afternoon Tea too, in the evening you can relax in the cozy library near the fireplace with real fire from woods. The hotel also offers a parking for 16 Euros per night, reservation required, which is convenient. The hotel is 10 walking minutes from the Charles Bridge. The room was clean, with slippers and shower utensils, TV has BBC, CNN, German, Italian and French channels as well as locals. The breakfast was also nice with variety of food to chose. Overall, very nice, clean and conveniently located hotel and good price to value ratio. Definitely recommend, you won't regret.

We stayed at Hotel Julian for 3 nights at the beginning of December. The hotel is well situated close to the centre of Prague (either walking or tram) but far enough away to provide a quieter environment where you can relax after a busy day sightseeing. The rooms are well appointed and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast offers a wide selection to suit everyone. The receptionist Oxana is amazing, helping us with directions, suggesting places to visit, nearby restaurants and also help booking events. Such a lovely person, thank you. Strongly recommended 😀

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at this hotel. The rooms are wonderfully appointed and comfortable. An excellent value. The location was also excellent with easy access to many different public transport choices just around the corner. We could be anywhere in the city center in just a few minutes. Best of all, the service was outstanding. Such nice people. Special acknowledgement to Marcela for making our stay so enjoyable.

A super hotel in a great location. 20 or so minute walk to the Old Town, or catch a tram from a nearby stop. Room was clean and tidy, mini-bar reasonably priced as was the bar. The breakfast was adequate for our needs, good range of items. Staff were really friendly and helpful and we booked an aromatherapy. This was a wonderful way to relax the body after a hard days walking. |We would stop here again if we were to return to Prague. Thank you to the staff.

A beautiful hotel, especially at Christmas with its decorations and log fire. Welcome drinks and afternoon tea every day, and the friendliest staff. Exceptionally clean and tidy, in a great central location, and the breakfast (and breakfast staff) were fabulous too. A lovely cosy, warm place to come back to after a cold day's sightseeing. We can't recommended it enough.

Not our first visit to this beautiful hotel and already planning for our 2026 return trip!||Located away from the hustle and bustle but easily within a stroll or tram ride into the main tourist areas.||The rooms are very clean and well furnished with ample sockets near the bed which is always handy for the modern travellers.||Breakfast is sufficient to start the day and the lounge area comfortable.||Staff are so helpful and courteous. ||We love visiting Prague and wouldn't even entertain the thought of staying anywhere else.... it's our home away from home!

Room was a good size and has a nice view of the street.|The hotel is perfectly in the middle of many tourists locations to walk to including Vyšehrad, Pražský hrad, and Petřín. Just pick a direction and go.|You can take a tram from švanodovo divadlo to new town and old town.|Hotel staff were kind and welcoming and provided directions when I needed it. There breakfast was also top notch.|Perfect home base for a solo trip to Prague.

We visited Prague two years ago and loved the city. Part of that was due to staying at Hotel Julian. So, deciding to visit Prague again, the first thing was to see if there was availability - fortunately there was one room free for our dates so I contacted the hotel and just like last time were always very prompt at getting back with information.|The hotel is in a quiet area but still walkable into the old town (15 - 20 minutes) although there is a tram stop around the corner. There are restaurants nearby plus an entrance into Petrin Park so I enjoyed some pre-breakfast morning walks.||The breakfast was always delicious and plentiful, all the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable, clean and warm. ||Without doubt we'll visit Prague again and will definitely be staying at Hotel Julian.

The staff is Friendly & extremely helpful, the breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of gourmet choices, the rooms are cozy and clean, the decor is beautiful, the restaurant downstairs is authentic and homey and well-managed, and it even has a rooftop patio. I've had a very enjoyable stay.

What makes this hotel truly shine is the level of service. This is a hotel that knows how to treat its guests. I booked three nights through Groupon for a very reasonable price, considering the hotel's excellent location in one of the most visited cities in Europe (LOVE Praha!). I emailed them several times - once to confirm the reservation and another time about ordering an airport shuttle service. Every time they responded quickly, taking care of my request in a prompt manner. As weary travelers, we were greeted at the hotel with a warm hello and detailed description of the amenities and services offered. We took the opportunity to go on a walking tour of the city with one of the hotel employees, Vaclav, who was enthusiastic and super friendly. The hotel is located in Prague 5, within walking distance of Old Town. It's very close to Mala Stranna and there's a tram stop just a few minutes away. The building itself is old, but is tastefully decorated and our dwelling bathroom had been completely remodeled. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the hotel restaurant served very good traditional food.

This hotel came highly recommended by a frequent guest. Their location away from Old Town is a plus, as it is much quieter, and neighborhood like. Very close to public transportation, and a thriving local area, we could walk, tram or Uber to anywhere in the city. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The morning breakfast is adequate, but their happy hour stands out as best. Grocery store nearby, plenty of local bars, and a brewery. Busy place, but well done in every regard.

Great Hotel just outside the Old Town in Prague. Lovely Old Hotel tastefully presented in Art Nouveau style, but with all modern facilities. I have stayed here twice and i just think it's a friendly and really comfortable Hotel with great amenities and nice prices. Recommended by me.

Very beautiful building in a quiet location only a short walk to the river and the downtown. Off the main tourist drag but still easily accessible. The staff were all lovely--helping us with printing documents and directions and trams to take. Amazing rooftop terrace and good breakfast every morning. Overall, the hotel has anticipated every need and is very accommodating. Would definitely stay again, very good value!

Highly recommend! Small & charming hotel conveniently located just a short walk from Old Town and Prague Castle (~15 minutes). What I loved: -Amazing customer service! -Reasonably priced rates -Complimentary hot breakfast with a surprisingly large and yummy variety of food/juices -So close to all the tourist sites, but just far enough to have a quiet, peaceful night of rest after long days of touring -Quiet because it's just a bit off the main tourist area -Clean -Modern amenities in a historic building -Free wifi -Cute rooftop with views of the castle, great for enjoying a low key meal or glass of wine What I didn't love: -NOTHING. I loved everything about this hotel! I would 100% stay here again in the future and totally recommend it!
