Hotel Junior Kuppanna, Ooty

We’ve arrived exactly at the closing time with empty stomach and the hot food served complimented the cold weather outside. The mutton gravy was splendid. We’ve ordered mutton biryani and chicken biryani. Chicken chukka and mutton gravy. Everything tasted good. Whenever I’m in ooty, I’m coming back to Kuppanna.

Visited today for lunch and ordered half mutton biryani and chicken fry. Biriyani was a good and reasonably small piece like 4 or 5. chicken was best with coconut pieces perfect. Well maintained and hygienic, the server was polite and noticed and suggested when my money fell from my pocket while returning, happily tipper him. Must try here The price is high but worth trying once when u come ooty.

Thanks to this restaurant that we didn't starve in Ooty. On the first day of our trip, it was already late and we didn't have any idea that all the shops would close soon but the junior kuppanna new outlet served us a yummy dinner Sorry I don't have any pics as we were very hungry But on the last day of check out we again went to the old outlet for breakfast and we were very satisfied with the delicious food.

I recently visited Junior Kuppanna and had a great experience! The South Indian cuisine was flavorful and authentic. I loved the [idli, meals, mutton ghee roast . The service was prompt and friendly. The ambiance was cozy and inviting. Dropped by Junior Kuppanna in Ooty to experience some authentic South Indian non-veg flavors — and it did not disappoint! The spice, the aroma, the satisfaction — everything was spot on. What we tried: Mutton Biryani – Fragrant seeraga samba rice with tender mutton pieces cooked to perfection. The biryani was mildly spicy, well-balanced in flavor, and came with boiled egg, raita, and salna. Chicken Sukka – A dry, spicy chicken preparation with a delicious blend of coconut, curry leaves, and South Indian masalas. Great texture, well-roasted, and paired perfectly with parotta or biryani.

Must visit place in Ooty. Mutton Biryani, Chicken Pallipalayam, egg veechu parotta , chicken kothu parotta & chicken liver fry , all were soo flavourful and balanced. Also the desserts carrot halwa and sooji halwa. Best part is reasonable pricing unlike other overrated and overpriced cafés.

If anyone wants to have local cuisine like Tamil veg and non veg must come to this restaurant joint. We had biriyani and Naddu chicken, chapatti.

The restaurant offers a great selection of non-vegetarian dishes. I enjoyed the chicken biriyani and chicken chukka during my visit. The flavors were excellent, and I must highlight the outstanding service provided. I truly appreciate the staff's attentiveness, and the prices were very reasonable.
