Hotel Kalpana Palace Ujjain

Don't waste your time and energy here unless extremely necessary. Giving two stars just because they were sober enough to give some good breakfast, else nothing lives upto the standards at this place. We got unclean/used towels, had issues with parking, room service is below average, rickshaw people standing outside this hotel are pathetic too (they're the fixed ones you'll always find outside this hotel), and I mean what not. Some of the staff is cooperative, but yes, overall "avoid" this place. It's just the location advantage, else I wouldn't pay even the half of what they charge.

The stay was very comfortable. The travel desk of the hotel was very helful. We booked the car from the travel desk to visit Omkareshwar, Mamleshwar and then a drop to our hotel in Indore. The driver Aamir was very helpful. He was very resourceful and connected us with the priests directly to be able to get in and out very quickly. We had booked the pooja online but getting in and out could be very tricky especially when you have aged parent with you. He knew all the right people at the right places. The Kal Bhairav temple was so crowded and the queue was 2-3 hours long, but he made it possible in half hour. Thank you Aamir!!!

Awesome hotel at an economical rate! The staff are very nice and professional. I found the manager, Mr. Nitin Chauhan, to be extremely helpful in arranging my early check-in. The best part is the location—it’s within walking distance approx 5 minutes to Mahakal Temple and the corridor. Highly recommended!

Very very happy that we are their people to the hotel....soo cooperative and helping nature..complete staff and main importantanly their travel desk is soo impressive...they have helped us in much emergency situation and the driver named Mr. ZAHID ji....wass sooo nice person and much helpful and most trusted driver even for long drives as we travelled almost 1200 kms in a day..his way of driving and treating the passengers is soo impressive....i surely recommend this hotel and their service to the people who come over there....a huge shout out and salute to the entire staff..service boys and driver who helped us a lot...No words to say...so muchh grateful to you all..thank youuu sooo muchhh KALPANA PALACE..🎊🙏😊

Its proximity to Mahaakaal corridor, Bhasma Aarti Counter and on main road make this hotel an easy choice. Our rooms were spacious. Staffs are friendly. And there are rickshaws easily available outside hotel to help you with full Ujjain Darshan.

Location on main road , just 200m near nandi dwar. Rooms are excellent , clean and hygienic. Washroom were clean and standard. Breakfast had around 18-20 varities , tasty and good . Overall a recomdable hotel and will make darshan experience even more pleasureful.

Recently I had stayed in this hotel - Kalpana Palace in Ujjain for 2 days. I think I might have missed to book a better room or not sure if the tripple occupancy rooms will be such conjusted. The room is very conjusted for me when paid 4k plus for per day. The breakfast was present in the premises but It looks basic and the items looks cold all the time. I had stayed for 2 days and both days I noticed that the food items are cold as if they are taken and displayed directly from the freezer. The only good thing for this hotel is it is opp to the mahakal lok gate which takes 2-3 mins to reach mahakal lok and also 4 mins to reach main gate 1 - Awantika dwar which is the place where we get 250 seegra darshan/vip darshan tokens. Also few say we get bhasma aarti tickets there.

The Hotel Kalpana Palace is one of the nice hotels in ujjain located just in front of the Mahakal Corridor. It is located at one of the prime locations, however the hotel is a little pricy compared to other hotels in the area and the rooms they have (though the rooms are pretty good in design and have excellent service) but according to price, the room does not have enough amenities. I would recommend it
