Hotel Kalpana Palace Ujjain

Everything was great about this stay. The rooms are clean and big. The service is excellent. They provide everything needed from toothbrush to toothpaste, comb, and shaving kit. The shower is very nice as well. It is definitely pricier than nearby hotels but we came here after seeing multiple hotels that were not up to standard. Definitely recommend this for your Ujjain stay.

The location is not pretty good and this is one of the best hotels in the area. Location is walking distance to temple, shopping and restaurants. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff is also good. We enjoyed our stay.

Only good thing about this hotel is location. Rooms are small and dark. We had lot of cockroaches in our room. Bathroom was smelling and door had black fungus on it. Staff behaviour is rude. Bathroom was chocked and water was not going away for few minutes. Dormat was so bad that your washed feet will become more dirty than before washing. AC is not working half the time and you need to keep calling the reception to turn on AC as they turn off the switch for your room to save electricity. Hotel doesn’t have a restaurant. You need to go outside to find food. Check photos. This hotel doesn’t deserve even 1 star and they have managed to bribe hotel industry to get 3 stars. Don’t waste your time and money here.

The property's location is ideal for exploring the various religious sites and temples in Ujjain. The assigned room was comfortable, and the quality of the food served was outstanding. Additionally, the hotel's cab service was highly professional. I would like to specifically commend Mr. Aamir, the cab driver provided by the hotel. He was exceptionally polite, supportive, and attentive, making his assistance during the trip a significant advantage.

Only the location is best as it is very to the temple and the corridor. Nothing is worth the value given. Rooms are small. No hygiene maintained. Fungus in the bathroom. Floor mat was too dirty. AC not working. Water was chocked in the bathroom. Per person only 500 ml water given. Don't know how they got 3 star property ratings. Prices are high and not at all justified. Not recommended at all...

I recently stayed at this hotel in Ujjain, and overall, it was an average experience. The reception staff were not very welcoming, which left a negative impression on my overall stay. For the price, the hotel is fine, but don't expect anything beyond the basics.

This is a good budget hotel. The rooms were very clean, the service was good and the best part about the hotel is its location. It is walking distance from Mahakal temple. Located on main Mahakal Road, there are plenty of options to eat at the nearby restaurants. I can’t rate the food here since I did not try breakfast.

We booked this hotel for two days but decided to change it after one day. **Positive:** - Great location near Mahakal Temple. - Staff is very helpful and supportive. - Breakfast was good **Negatives:** - Mattress was too hard, causing backaches. - Recommend checking the mattress before booking. - Rooms are small. - Charges are high compared to room size.
