Hotel Kamal

We arrived at the Kamal Hotel & we’re kindly welcomed by Abhfshek (Abi) in the main office.||We stayed (3nts) in the luxury rooms (Air Con) & they are the best rooms we had stayed in, since our arrival in India 23.09.25.||This AMAZING hotel is THE BEST hotel in Agra, located conveniently next to the Taj Mahal. The dining experience, accommodation & location is FANTASTIC!!||If you are lucky enough to secure a room here, you won’t be dissapointed.||Agra is a great town, with shops, bars & cafe’s to suit everyone. You simply mix in with yhe culture & off you go!!||This hotel is simply AWESOME!!!

The rooms are exceptional as well as very good value . A short walk to the taj mahal ,not too far from the Agra fort too .Food is nicely priced and very tasty ,with a perfect terrace view of the taj mahal .pictures from the terrace look so good ,they look like I copied and pasted them off Google .Over all good stay,food and views

POSITIVES:|1) Location: very close to the Taj, and you can see it from the rooftop.||2) Food: Food was very good and we didn’t get ill as Westerners. ||3) Room: Room was basic but was a good size with lots of storage and a sofa, bed was quite firm but large and comfortable. ||4) Noise: Hotel was fairly quiet so no disrupted sleep. ||NEGATIVES:|1) Rooftop restaurant: Bit of a stretch to call it a restaurant… There were some plastic chairs and tables up there but no ambience. Also there are monkeys, one of which was quite aggressive in the morning so we decided to eat in our room instead. ||2) Over friendly staff: Whilst it was lovely in one way, we weren’t left alone by the waiter whilst having dinner on the rooftop. We had wanted a romantic meal overlooking the Taj but didn’t have the heart to ask for privacy. It was a lovely conversation but could have been 45 minutes shorter so we had some alone time. ||3) Hot water: Word of warning, in the morning when everyone is getting ready to enter the Taj for sunrise there is no hot water at all so cold showers only. Recommend showering in the evening instead. ||OVERALL: Don’t expect much for this price point but if only staying 1/2 nights it’s a decent choice.

A female solo traveler from Russia, I can say that this is the best most friendly safe hotel I stayed in India the staff is great they always ready to help The rooftop view with restaurants is amazing Room was clean I definelty recommend it Good for backpackers and solo travellers

I would give it a 3.5...The service was amazing, from the time we entered we were greeted with smile and warmth of the floor managers, the food served were delicious, finger licking good with the view of the Taj Mahal.....if you are coming with friends or on a tight budget i would recommend it, but not with family or couple, specially in your group someone has OCD....the Rooms could be renovated and done better..

If you ever visit Agra, I suggest staying at this hotel. It has a very nice Taj Mahal view from its rooftop, the service is good, the food is good as well, and I got the AC room at 2300rs.

The location is the very best, only a 5 min walk from the gates of the Taj Mahal! As foreigners from the United States, the hotel room accommodations were very good. The food prepared by the hotel owners was delicious, hygienic, and home cooked, truly incredible all around. The hotel rooms were very clean with no bugs at all. The showers were amazing with hot, high pressure water for long showers. Beds and pillows were very comfortable for sound sleep. The owners were very friendly. No need to stay or eat anywhere else in Agra; we found everything we needed here! 5 out of 5 stars, impeccable accommodations.

Magical stay with the best view of the Taj ,The view was simply unforgettable especially at sunrise,The room was comfortable the service warm and rooftop dinning with that iconic backdrop made the stay perfect
