Hotel Kamal

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It’s close to the Taj mahal and offers great value for nice price. The Taj Mahal is about a 10-minute walk away. The view from the rooftop restaurant is amazing The staff were friendly and helpful. When I asked where I could change my charger, they even took me to a nearby shop. I appreciated their kindness. Thank you.

Abhishek (hotel manager) was fantastic. Our room: no AC, private bathroom; quite simple but comfortable for our one night stay. Walkable <1 minute to the East Gate entrance for the Taj Mahal, and South Gate exit when you leave. We’re here in December so lots of fog and unable to see the Taj from the rooftop view as others have posted. They’ve said visits from February or September have clearer weather. Thanks for the friendly hospitality and smiles from everyone :)

This hotel is perfectly located for your visit to Taj Mahal. Just a short 2 minutes walk and you’re at the entry point of the Taj! Rooms are adequate and you can enjoy the panoramic view of the Taj from the rooftop of their in-house restaurant. The staff is very helpful and “Abihishek” is a very friendly guy whom you may approach to arrange any of your needs in Agra.

We arrived at the Kamal Hotel & we’re kindly welcomed by Abhfshek (Abi) in the main office.||We stayed (3nts) in the luxury rooms (Air Con) & they are the best rooms we had stayed in, since our arrival in India 23.09.25.||This AMAZING hotel is THE BEST hotel in Agra, located conveniently next to the Taj Mahal. The dining experience, accommodation & location is FANTASTIC!!||If you are lucky enough to secure a room here, you won’t be dissapointed.||Agra is a great town, with shops, bars & cafe’s to suit everyone. You simply mix in with yhe culture & off you go!!||This hotel is simply AWESOME!!!

Location is perfect , 2 min walk to eastern gate of Taj Mahal . The Around areas are full of restaurants and shops . Staff are welcoming . They have menu for snacks , drinks . The rooftop has nice view on Taj Mahal , so nicely sit and have coffee while watching the beauty of Taj . Monkeys are hanging around , need attention ... No breackfast provided for stay . Room is not well sound proof , many times hear sounds from other rooms . No shampo , no fridge , no closet or hanger , no slipper . No shower possible , just use old method with bucket and cup , hot water comes well . Pillows are in terrible condition , it looks used for ages . Coverd by sheet to hide the horrible look . Check out 10:30 am . Cost for night is overpriced compared to service and other hotels around . There is so much maintenance needed to improve the quality . However ... location and view is super .

The staff was really helpful. The manager arranged everything including a tuk tuk service and the luggage storage. Each morning I was approached and asked whether I want a coffee which was extremally nice. The view from the terrace is stunning. Straight on Taj. The location is really convenient, just few minutes walk from the gate of Taj. The area is vibrant and safe at the same time.

The hotel's location, rooms, rooftop view, cleanliness, and price—everything was excellent. But here's why the rating is so low: When I told the manager I had to leave early in the morning, he took me to the information desk (adjacent to the hotel), saying he had a friend there who could help me with a taxi. It turned out this "friend" was asking 800 rupees for a taxi at 5 a.m. He also said that taxis don't come to that location and I wouldn't be able to get one that morning. In fact, I ordered a taxi, it arrived, and I paid a little over half the price. This "manager's friend" also helps with train tickets. I don't know how much he'll mark up the ticket price. It's very disappointing to be scammed and that this hotel's managers do this. Be careful and check everything yourself, and don't trust such "helpers." This whole situation is very unpleasant.

The rooms are exceptional as well as very good value . A short walk to the taj mahal ,not too far from the Agra fort too .Food is nicely priced and very tasty ,with a perfect terrace view of the taj mahal .pictures from the terrace look so good ,they look like I copied and pasted them off Google .Over all good stay,food and views
