Hotel Kavalerie

When we got to the hotel, it was a total deception. They gave us a third floor mini room, and the window view was pointing to the rooftop of the next door building. There was no space to move inside the room. No elevator exists there, and the housekeeping of the common areas was very poor. The street around has many stores and restaurants, and it felt good to walk around.

This small hotel has it all! Located at a quiet pedestrian street, walking distance from bus terminal and even from some of the attractions of this lovely city. The hotel facilities are very good. I've booked a single room for one night, the accomodation was a bit small, but clean, comfortable and very well kept. Breakfast was a nice surprise with a large choice of items. Also, the receptionists were very kind. For the location and price this is the place to choose! You'll enjoy it for sure!

The location was great - close to the bus and secondary train station, close to the banks, restaurants, cafes and regular shops and then a short walk through the town to the spas and the river. Accessibility was not so good as it is on a pedestrianised street, so you can't pull up to the front door in a car or taxi. There was no lift and plenty of stairs. Breakfast was the usual, and very good. There were couple of nice cafes too out the front.||||I took a budget room in the back of the hotel but it was perfectly adequate and dead quiet. It only had a skylight window but that meant it could be kept dark in the morning and i slept the longest for ages.||||TV only had local stations. The room lacked any hooks for clothes and the cupboard had only one hanger. ||||Karlovy Vary is a truly wonderful place and really should be seen by all, and this hotel a very good choice when visiting. I consider my room to have been very good value indeed after spending a great deal more in Germany.

Spent one night there, in a cozy and roam. We also had the breakfast in the morning. I loved the place. They have a fireplace, wooden tables and nice service. The food was normal, they had yogurt, boiled eggs, omelette, boiled sausages (you have to ask the waiter for one of these two), butter, bread, cheese, milk, filtered coffee, juice. | The hotel is located on the same street as Jan Becher Museum and very close to the train/ bus station. | We also enjoyed the city.

Kavalerie Hotel is extremely clean,nicely decorated boutique hotel located right in the middle of the city of Karlovy Vary. There are almost all kinds of restaurants,cafes,markets very close to the hotel. All attractions are walking distance. We stayed on 26th and 27th August for 2 nights with my wife,loved the hotel and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. |We had a beautiful,well decorated and extremely clean room with kitchenette.|Overall;|Great room rates,great service,rich full filling breakfast buffet. |Hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful. Stayed in this very cozy Tower hotel for a night with a friend. The rooms have comfortable beds, hair dryer in the bathroom, TV in the room. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Late check-in via phone, delicious breakfast in the morning with a fake fireplace on. No elevator (and the hotel has five floors).

The hotel is in the main high street near to the main bus stops. The check in desk is open until 7pm each day and you have a key to the front door to let yourself in after this time. The room i booked was a twin room with en suite shower/toilet. The bed is very comfy and you have a decent duvet which is lovely to snuggle into. The breakfast is good, with a choice of hot/cold meats, cereals, apple or orange juice and filtered coffee. Its a 5 minute walk to the Mill Collonade and 15 minutes to the diana funicular. There are plenty of places to go for food and drink nearby and being away from the collonade the prices are that bit cheaper. I cannot fault the hotel, being in a pedestrianised zone there is little traffic noise and the staff speak good english and have been able to help me with directions to places.

Excellent family room: red carpet, 2 rooms with 2 single beds, flat TV, fridge. Amazing breakfast between 8 and 10: different ham, cheese, pastry, cookies, toasts, muesli, sausages, omelette, artificial but very similar to a real fire place. Great view on one of the main streetsю Pleasant young man explained everything on the reception upon our arrival. Very close to a good restaurant Staroslavanská Kuchyne!
