Hotel Kazbek

Best hotel in Lapad. We found this hotel through our credit card benefits. It was awesome. The rooms are spacious and clean. They have a turn down service at night. The property is luxurious and the service spectacular. We happened to visit during the good food fest and the manager ( Vinka) helped coordinate a vegan meal for my husband. She checked in with us when we arrived due to a little miscommunication about a reservation at Lopud. Wonderful customer service. If we return to Dubrovnik, we are definitely staying at Kazbek again! Book it. Don’t hesitate. Location is in Lapad, easy to take a boat to nearby islands. You can take a bus that goes to the old town.

Stated for 6 nights at this hotel it was really perfect. The pool area is perfect, peaceful, and relaxing. Breakfast was wonderful all freshly prepared and we stayed in for dinner once as the weather was wet and had a lovely evening meal here too. Staff are so helpful and the hotel is really nicely decorated and set out. Room are so clean and comfortable highly recommend this hotel. I would love to return.

Lovely hotel convenient to the public busses. Room reasonably large and quite clean and the bed was comfortable. We did not eat in the restaurant, but then staff was very helpful. If you don’t mind being outside the Old Town, would definitely recommend.

This is a really great hotel, perhaps one of the best we have ever stayed in. I initially looked at hotels in the old town, but they were very expensive. I'm glad that I didn't book one, because the old town is very busy with visitors from cruise ships. The facilities at this hotel are superb. There is a beautiful pool, which I think is only open to residents. The restaurant is great and serves wonderful breakfasts with table service and has a nice small but varied menu for dinner. The staff were friendly and professional and throughout the hotel there is a great attention to detail.

Fantastic place to be in. Just great. Lovely and intimate atmosphere and well laid out room. Many different locations to be in, outside by the pool, outside on the terrace or outside in the front yard. Inside by the coffee tables...or in the restaurant-you choose. Just one slight remark, restaurant is not very fancy looking if you opt for indoors eating, but the breakfast and food is good.

Lovely hotel, rooms really well appointed, breakfast fabulous and pool area is perfect!! The bus from the old town stops right outside the hotel. I would also recommend walking to sunset beach, takes 10 mins from the hotel and passes lovely restaurants and bars. Take the coastal path when you reach the beach for a beautiful early morning or sunset walk.

Hotel Kazbek is truly a five-star gem nestled in the Marina area of Dubrovnik. With only about 13 rooms, the hotel feels intimate and peaceful — perfect for a relaxing stay away from the busier parts of the city. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. One of the highlights of my stay was the serene pool area in the back — quiet and uncrowded during the day, with a charming pool house open from 1 p.m. to around 6 p.m. Breakfast is included daily from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. if you choose that option, and it is absolutely worth it. The food was superb throughout my stay, from breakfast to dinner, but what stood out most was the exceptional service. The staff at Kazbek are incredibly hospitable — warm, helpful, and always going the extra mile to ensure a wonderful experience. Shout out to Mato and Atune for their kindness during our stay. I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. If you have the opportunity to stay at Hotel Kazbek while visiting Dubrovnik, don’t hesitate — it’s an experience you won’t forget.

Our stay at the hotel was genuinely memorable. The room was much better than expected (elegant, not dated) and while not especially large, it felt carefully designed and comfortably refined. We were kindly upgraded to a room with a lovely view of the inner courtyard, which added to the sense of calm and charm. The property itself has a distinct historical allure: it was once the summer residence of the Zamanja family, one of Dubrovnik’s noble lineages, and that legacy is still present in the building’s architecture and character. The pool area was also a highlight—serene and well-kept, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Altogether, the hotel balances heritage with comfort in a way that feels authentic rather than staged. It’s an ideal choice for those who appreciate subtle elegance and a sense of place.
