Hotel Kazzhol Almaty

I stayed three nights at this hotel. The reception staff was friendly. The room, including good bed, was comfortable and clean. Compared to some places, everything worked too! The breakfast was good – definitely above average. The location was pretty good. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the excellent Almaty metro. Good restaurants are even closer. A taxi ride is possible, but traffic is horrible.

As a stop on our tour, this hotel proved more than adequate.|Hidden away from the road it is centrally located and close to a supermarket. Rooms were a good size and clean enough, but the wifi was a bit spasmodic. Breakfast was in a large room and had a decent choice.

I selected this hotel as part of my Air Astana trip absolutely cannot fault the service! Also, breakfast was amazing. Clean, cosy, comfortable, excellent receptionist, very safe area for solo young women. I highly recommend it !

This was the hotel our tour company chose. If you don’t weigh under 100 lbs. forget about getting into the shower. No robes but they offer slippers. Small rooms more in the style of a hostel so, at best, this is a two star hotel. Breakfast was okay but bread stale and eggs cold. If you can afford better, do so.

Rooms are old and worn. Breakfast is the only thing I liked with this Hotel. Staff not really care you especially Russian is not your first language. The lady in the night shift in reception... She just walked away and slept behind the wall while we are standing there waiting for her help. other days were the same. haven't seen such rude and unhappy reception in hospitality sector.

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a group tour. Apart from steep steps into reception, everything was very convenient. Pleasant room with plenty of space. Good bathroom with excellent shower. Excellent choices for breakfast in buffet and good meals in restaurant in the evening. Pleasant helpful staff. Easy to walk to other eating places and supermarket and coffee shops nearby.

I had a very nice stay there and have a nice experience too. My laundry was hung at the balcony and who knows the strong wind blew them all off. The security man there really help me to look for all my clothes. He really went looking under the cars, at the grass patches, everywhere. Once at night and once in the morning, I managed to get back some of my clothes. Temur, if I got his name correct.

Its good center of city... near to green bazar , presidential park, and some good clubs and spa near by ... breakfast is moderate for Indian.. use Google translate some dish r not written in English.. rest all good experience... use pool ...
