Hotel Kazzhol Almaty

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a group tour. Apart from steep steps into reception, everything was very convenient. Pleasant room with plenty of space. Good bathroom with excellent shower. Excellent choices for breakfast in buffet and good meals in restaurant in the evening. Pleasant helpful staff. Easy to walk to other eating places and supermarket and coffee shops nearby.

I had a very nice stay there and have a nice experience too. My laundry was hung at the balcony and who knows the strong wind blew them all off. The security man there really help me to look for all my clothes. He really went looking under the cars, at the grass patches, everywhere. Once at night and once in the morning, I managed to get back some of my clothes. Temur, if I got his name correct.

This hotel was well located but although it has a lot of facilities it also needs some improvement. The room decor is very 1970s Russian. Our bathroom door was very hard to close . There was however a reasonably priced mini bar and water provided. The bed was hard but comfortable and the room very quiet and clean. We were unable to find anything in English at all on the tv . Not even CNN or BBC. |They had no tonic for a gin & tonic at the bar . Breakfast wasn’t too bad but there was no fruit or muesli type cereals . It’d benefit from updated rooms .

Good central location for this nice hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. Easy to walk to the Metro and shopping areas of the city. Buffet was busy for breakfast but nice food even though in the basement which was a bit stuffy and hot with no views. But staff were pleasant and hotel felt good quality.

This centrally located hotel offers a convenient stay in Almaty, with some rooms boasting views of Kop Tobe. While the standard room size is typical for a major city, the hotel shines in terms of location. Cleanliness is also commendable. However, the dining experience at the multi-cuisine restaurant, Salt, needs attention. Our group of six experienced very slow service, with food taking 75-90 minutes to arrive. Vegetarian guests should be aware that the breakfast buffet offers limited options beyond fruits and vegetables. It's advisable to inquire about the bread's ingredients, as it may contain egg. Despite the slow service at the restaurant and limited vegetarian breakfast choices, the hotel's excellent location makes it a reasonable choice. Hotel location is nice and nearby many tourist spots. But hotel staff provided wrong information about breakfast timings and they closed it before that and even not provided breakfast. Also for most of services like spa they are closed.

Horrible service and poor food quality…we booked 3 double rooms from 3rd to 8th of April.There was no milk whitener or coffee sachets in room.Even after repeatedly reminding they didn’t provide any.They are so misery that they don’t provide even sugar sachets.Height of the hotel room is bathroom and closet doors don’t work properly.Bed making also not done daily.we reminded receptionist to get them repaired and at the time of check out they charged 40000 bucks 🤦🏼‍♂️after we convinced them they cancelled the amount….and last is we took only one cool drink in the bar unit,they charged for three😡😡😡My sincere advice is don’t opt this hotel …it’s terrible and disgusting 😡😡😡😡
