Hotel Kempton

This is a good hotel in a rather rough area (though not the worst by far). It's clean inside and out, the rooms have what you need, and the staff are reasonable about everything. If you have any problem with a room they will move you efficiently. The prices for rooms are good. I ate in the hotel restaurant every night for 10 nights (one or two nights thought it was ok but not great), never got sick. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

Location is prime, all type of restaurants, shops arount. Their own restaurant and free breakfast buffet is awesome. This small bengali restaurant serves very healthy but tasty bengali food. If you are staying in this hotel try few items from this restaurant. All Bengali Fish items are great. Now rooms are very neat and clean. Plenty of space. Hotel staffs are very friendly and super helpful. I could give it 5 star rating but bathroom was disaster, spider nets, old toilet, towels are wornout. And bathroom was seriously a concern. They need to pay some time to renovate the bathrooms. Other than that this is a great hotel in a prime location. By the way, sorrounding is very dirty but this is a safe area.

Less Recommended. Suggest to book alternate hotel in the same locality. Keep this hotel as last option. Poor room service, management not cooperative, rooms are not hygien. When I checked in my room, there were so many died insect on the floor. Moreover, i also found insects in breakfast served. Be careful what you eat.

I have a wonderful experience here. Their hospitality is very good. They are very welcoming. They have restaurant facilities. Rooms are very good, clean. Washroom is also very clean. Hot water facilities available. Their staff behaviour is just awesome. Their restaurant food is also good but I will suggest you must try local food if you are in visit purposes. Local food is very cheap. Note: Must use Ola service for transportation. Hiring car is not suggest.

I had a great experience, the food is awesome, rooms are fantastic if you are getting a reasonable rate then this hotel is a must stay for a short duration.

I had a very satisfactory stay in this hotel. The room was spacious with a big double-sized bed, ample seating arrangements, and a writing table. The bed was just hard enough. The bathroom was good. The two restaurants were good. One served breakfast, the other Ruposhi Bangla lunch & dinner. The breakfast had quite extensive menu of Indian fare.||The dishes were a bit repetitive. The doors, both the main & the bathroom, were very heavy & difficult to open. ||The hotel staff were great.

Nice and polite staff. I really liked the service and not to forget the location is perfect, just near the market.

Very good location. Park Street is walkable. The staff were very courteous. Breakfast spread was decent . Overall good budget room
