Hotel Kempton

This is the best hotel, rooms are really good decorative. My recent stay at this hotel turned out to be one of the most memorable travel experiences I have had in a long time. From the moment I arrived, the staff gave me a warm welcome, making check-in quick and hassle-free. The lobby had a modern yet comforting charm, instantly creating a positive impression. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with all the essentials, providing both comfort and convenience. The housekeeping team kept everything spotless each day, which made the stay feel both relaxing and refreshing.

My parents had a worst experience with the hotel service. Inspite of informing them they are senior citizens and please do take care of them still they ignored. I booked the hotel through online and made all the payments online instant. Rooms were premium. Check in 11 OCT check out 14 OCT 1. During their stay they wanted to watch TV in the evening, it didn’t work they called receptionist many times and nobody showed up. They ordered food so the restaurant guy helped to inform the receptionist that the TV was not working. Some maintenance guy showed up after 1 hour and informed them that it was broken and cannot be fixed. 2. My parents had a morning train so they informed them in the evening to give them wake up call. They took the details but was not given wake up call in the morning. 3. During their check out they were informed bills were cleared and have to pay. We had paid online all the bills then after checking in their system and wasting my parents time they said “ oh sorry yes it was all clear.” I do not recommend any of my friends and family to stay in this hotel. If u want to go through same experience then u can always try your luck.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and had a really good experience overall. 1. Location:The location is excellent, within walking distance to Park Street and the New Market area, which was very convenient. 2. Room:We stayed in an executive room which was neat, clean, and well-maintained. No complaints at all. 3. Service:The service was impressive. The staff were polite, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. 4. Breakfast :The breakfast buffet was decent with a fair variety of options. 5. Restaurant:The hotel has an attached restaurant (Rupsi Bangla). We found the food to be average – nothing exceptional, but okay for a meal or two. 6. Others:We had an evening flight and needed to check out early, but the hotel staff kindly stored our luggage till the evening. There was also a weighing scale available to check our luggage weight, which was really helpful. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Kolkata.

Very old and dated hotel in a clusterfk area. While hotel is clean, toilet is in extremely narrow space. Everything old and dated inside the room. Good breakfast spread. Very expensive for the location.

Good hotel in New Market area. Though a bit worn out, the toilets are clean and room is okay. They even let us check in early. Secured and good service.

Very good service, totally worth the money, the staff is very wholesome and sweet. The Breakfast is very very nice !! Rooms are great, spacious, clean and comfortable. Area is good. Food is also tasty. Recommending it to everyone looking forward to visit kolkata. ❤️

Very disappointing stay. I paid around ₹5000 for a premium room, but it looked like an average one. The bed was just two singles joined together, very uncomfortable, and the washroom was below standard. Overall, not worth the price and highly unsatisfactory.

This is a great hotel with great staff. Walking distance from the major shopping area, the area around is safe. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The food is good and most of all the staff are super helpful. Will stay again.
