Hôtel Khamvongsa

I was there in Deluxe Double Room for one night without breakfast included. The room is decorated with wooden materials, giving a comfortable feeling. With a fan in the room, we can reduce CO2 emissions from turning on the AC, which is very nice. However, kindly note that the dark floor made me encounter mosquitoes at night even though the hotel tried to spray mosquito repellent, so it is recommended to bring your own if you are sensitive to insects. In general, I will definitely return to stay here if I have a chance to visit Vientiane again.

This is a really nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional. It's in a great location, close to the night market, the night food market, and many restaurants, cafes, and buddhist temples. The room was sizeable, clean, and well maintained. I loved that there were no TVs in the rooms, which is rare to see in hotels. But it provided for a peaceful environment without much noise. There is a breakfast available for an extra $5, which is totally worth it. There is on-site laundry which is also very reasonably priced. I appreciate the fact that they delievered my clean clothes when they were making up the room. The service is just superb. I strongly recommend this hotel and would be more than happy to stay here again if I'm ever back to Vientiane.

The location is good. Depending on where your hotel room is located (ours were on the fourth floor so going up and down the stairs was a bit of a hassle) it could be a problem for older guests. The staff was very helpful. They arranged for us bus tickets when the train tickets were out. (Now that I know I highly don’t recommend buses)

Beautiful hotel, simple with colonial style of good taste. Friendly and helpful staff although not all speak English. |Great location next to great coffee shops and Wats. |There are many good choices in this city this one offers good value for mid range hotels.

Beautiful furniture and spacious room. Breakfast not included but not overly expensive! Friendly staff and good laundry service.

Lots to love about the Hotel Khamvongsa: a small, stylish, boutique hotel in the river quarter of Vientiane. My third stay and with each visit I was more and more impressed with the quality of the hotel, the care and attention of the staff, and the overall feel of comfort. Highly Recommend,

The hotel is so beautifully decorated in elegant colonial style. The facilities and the furniture are very well maintained. Spotlessly clean! My single room on the 4th floor had so much space and light and was absolutely comfortable. Airco, fan, safe with key (as power cuts do occur...). I also liked the minimal provision of toiletries, just the necessary: a good quality shampoo and shower gel, and a shower cap as there is only a high fixed shower head. I really loved my stay there!
