Our stay at Kimal Hotel was extremely disappointing. First, there were swarms of bees right in front of the rooms. When we raised the issue, the staff simply said there was nothing they could do, despite the fact that I’m allergic. The bath and bed linens were of very poor quality and caused us both skin irritation. To make matters worse, after we returned late from a tour and missed the checkout time, the staff didn’t even offer us the option of a late checkout or paying for an extra night. Instead, we came back to find all of our belongings stuffed into plastic bags. We were forced to repack our luggage in the middle of the front desk area, in front of other guests. This was not only unprofessional but completely disrespectful.
