Amazing Stay With Exceptional Service! I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff are extremely welcoming and genuinely helpful from the moment you arrive. The location is perfect—tucked on a quiet side street just steps from the main strip where you’ll find all the restaurants, shops, tour operators, a pharmacy, and even a laundromat. The grounds are spotless, modern, and very charming. The room itself has that rustic San Pedro feel while still being modern and comfortable. It also includes a mini-fridge, which is absolutely essential in this hot, dry climate. There is air conditioning too, but you do need to ask the staff to turn it on since they keep the remote. Not a huge issue, but something to be aware of. My one complaint is that the room didn’t have a hair dryer—which is a pretty big inconvenience, especially since every other hotel I’ve stayed at during my travels has had one. On the upside, the onsite restaurant is fantastic! I highly recommend it, and the prices are very reasonable. Breakfast is great as well, and if you’re leaving early for a tour—like the Geysers or the Uyuni salt flats—they’ll pack a small breakfast for you to take along. They also kindly stored our luggage for four days while we were away on the Uyuni tour, which was incredibly helpful. Overall, the service and kindness here are unbeatable. I highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful place with a great vibe and super friendly staff (Shout out to Sevla on front desk for amazing hospitality). The place is super close to Main Street, the rooms are well maintained and so are the common areas. The setup is very cute and blends with the desert feels of Atacama. The free breakfast is great but the dinner options felt limited and would recommend trying out the multiple restaurants in the area

Great hotel one of our favourites from our last trip. We stayed in a chalet “across the road “ it was roomy clean comfortable very central and secure. |The onsite restaurant served quality meals we were impressed |A great choice if visiting extremely interesting if slightly dusty San Pedro de Atacama

Amazing! Great location, staff are amazing, restaurant on site is great value and good food. You can get a 3 person meat platter to share for 24000 pesos total and the house wine is amazing. You also get a discount at the attached spa, two pools and parking. Cant recommend enough. We’ve been to several hotels up and down Chile on this trip and this was the best by far and the lowest star rating! Atmosphere is stunning. The parking is opposite their reception. It seems they’ve bought out the hotel opposite so Google is wrong. To park just stop quickly outside and ask them to open the gate. It is tight for parking as there isn’t much space if a lot of people have cars If your going out for an excursion you can also change your breakfasts for a nice packed lunch.

This review would have been much more positive, but for one major flaw. The hotel is nicely located, with car parking. The buildings are nicely designed, with a very relaxed feel. The restaurant is fine, with an above average breakfast, with friendly and helpful staff. The big flaw was our bed, which was long overdue for replacement. The wobbly bed-frame and soggy mattress meant that we did not get a decent night's sleep for the 4 nights we were there. If the problem had been something that had gone gone wrong recently, and the staff could fix it, I would not be writing this review, but since a worn-out bed would have been obvious for many months (if not years), I do not feel inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. Hotel Kimal is not cheap (though nowhere in San Pedro is), but we have stayed in other hotels here in the same price bracket with far better beds.

The hotel rooms are very cosy, with free water taps on the premise. Minibar, but no coffee tea making facility. Good quality bed linen, matrass and some towels need replacement. Daily proper cleaning. Unfortunately loud noise from adjoning bar (friday and saturday till 01.30u), making a good night rest for us impossible (we slept in the part behind the spa). Valet parking might be a risk, we witnessed a vehicle being damaged by a hotel employee

Our stay at Kimal Hotel was extremely disappointing. First, there were swarms of bees right in front of the rooms. When we raised the issue, the staff simply said there was nothing they could do, despite the fact that I’m allergic. The bath and bed linens were of very poor quality and caused us both skin irritation. To make matters worse, after we returned late from a tour and missed the checkout time, the staff didn’t even offer us the option of a late checkout or paying for an extra night. Instead, we came back to find all of our belongings stuffed into plastic bags. We were forced to repack our luggage in the middle of the front desk area, in front of other guests. This was not only unprofessional but completely disrespectful.

Very friendly and welcoming hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was superb. A great location off the main street. All the staff were wonderful and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The pools and spa facilities were great.

Review is for Kimal Relax - the attached salon. I got a deep pressure massage here -36K pesos for one hour. I asked for hard pressure, and that is exactly what I got. You can hook into their wifi while you wait. There is also a ¨bar,¨ where you can buy smoothies.

Amazing! The hotel was all hand constructed including each tile, bamboo ceiling, door frames etc. Hotel was very well maintained and the restaurant had great food.
