Wow what an amazing, historic bnb in a great location. Such Friendly staff! They were so accommodating and helpful. Best part is that they are PET friendly!!! Had a lovely time with my pups and being able to walk the area. Will definitely be back.

This place is beautiful. Each bedroom is uniquely appointed, so you can pick the one that suits you best. Despite the historic provenance of the building, it contains modern heating and cooling, ample power outlets and lighting, and robust high speed fiber internet. And finally, location. It is in the heart of southtown, within a 2 minute walk from some of the best bars and restaurants. The downside of this is that weekends can be a little rowdy, as the place across the street plays their music loud. It was distracting when I was sitting in the parlor in the front of the house, but I couldn't hear it in my bedroom in the back of the house. I think they have to stop with the noise at 10 pm.

My husband and I stayed in the casita for our first anniversary! We walked to every meal (thank you Alison for the recommendations) and spent Saturday walking the river walk! ||The casita has everything you need including lemon & orange trees! The keurig was nice for early morning before grabbing brunch at the Liberty Bar-literally right out the door! If you have a sweet tooth we highly recommend the “create your own” cinnamon rolls from Cinna-holic! ||The King William Manor was such a cool property in a very neat neighborhood! We hope to go back with some friends and stay in the main house! Thank you Alison for everything!

Enjoyed our December stay so much, we returned for a longer stay in May! The Stone House (see the website) is cozy, quiet and very well equipped with everything you might need for a super comfortable stay. Alison and Craig are friendly and proficient hosts who respond quickly to any issues or requirements. The Southtown location is perfectly situated in proximity to Downtown, but far enough outside the core to be relaxing. We'll definitely be back !!

Just found this lovely place - what a treasure. Room was large and comfortable - great bed - so quiet and walking distance to lots of great food. Great breakfast at the Mad Hatter and happy hour at the Liberty Bar is not to be missed. The grounds are lovely and Patrick is a jewel. This place is head and shoulders above those downtown cracker boxes. We will be back as often as possible

Google
I highly recommend the King William Manor house rentals! We rented the Main & Guest houses for our large family & to have access to a full kitchen. The houses are well kept, the rooms much larger than expected & the property is in a great location - convenient to the Riverwalk, restaurants & general site seeing. Should we return to San Antonio for another Christmas, we will definitely be contacting them. Also, the Dudley’s (the renters) were great hosts.

Google
A quaint, well located place to stay near the heart of the Riverwalk. You feel like you’re getting a little piece of history by staying here. Thoughtfully decorated and plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The host is so helpful with any questions or suggestions. I recommend the coffee and wine bar across the street also during your stay.

Our family needed a large property for our out of town guests to be comfortable and convenient to various parts of the city. The King William Manor properties which include a large historic home with 8 private fully appointed bedrooms, a two bedroom guesthouse with a full kitchen, and a cute one bedroom casita. All of this and a full sized swimming pool. Allison did a great job showing us around and giving all of us our privacy. There is ample off street parking in the popular King William district with restaurants and bars within walking distance our on a Bird scooter.

Yelp
This now known as the King William Hotel. It is fabulously sumptuous and comfortable. And it's very conveniently located. We stayed two nights in a room at the rear of the house that was quiet. We enjoyed the gardens and wish we'd brought swimsuits for the pool. We will be staying here again and highly recommend it.

Yelp
Superb. My family and I recently had occasion to spend a few days in the marvelous city of San Antonio. We discovered the King William Manor's "Stonehouse" on VRBO and made a decision to stay there for our entire vacation. First off, Allison, with whom we dealt primarily, was very helpful. Not only did she help us with the rental by ensuring everything was ready upon our arrival, but she was incredibly useful by providing us lots of good tips on how to get around and where to eat. The Stonehouse, itself, was just what we were looking for: a chic, stylish home away from home that was also highly functional, clean, ideally located, and not overly pricey. Add the adjacent pool and it was a no-brainer to stay here. Allison and Craig have obviously put a lot of time and effort into renovating this home. Although it looks very unassuming from the outside, it boasts a lot of nice touches inside such as new paint and tile, new granite countertops, a nice HD flatscreen TV, huge master bath, new washer and dryer, and some pretty posh furniture options. It was perfect for me and my wife, along with our daughter and my 74 y/o father. Everything works and the house is/was immaculate. WIFI is fast and reliable. A nearby HEB grocery store is only .5 miles away if you need groceries. Numerous trendy cafes, bars, and restaurants line S. Alamo street upon which this house is situated. Two nearby VIVA bus stops make getting around SUPER easy and cheap. The southern end of the famed River Walk is a five minute walk away. Street traffic is minimal and generally quiet. We all slept well during our stay, especially since the provided beds and linens are so comfortable and soft. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem. It is perfect for a small family or two couples wanting to visit San Antonio. Centrally located to River Walk, Tower if the America's, and numerous dining options (I strongly recommend Rosario's, just up the street), Stone House is a perfect San Antonio vacation rental property.

Yelp
This is a great place in a great location with great caretakers. Alison and Craig took over this B&B several months ago, and they're doing a wonderful job. The property consists of two historical houses, an inground pool behind the houses, a smaller house where the owners live, and a good-sized yard surrounding the whole thing. Craig is gifted glass blower and a few of his pieces have been incorporated into the decor (check out the tasteful, contemporary update on the chandelier in the main house.) Each room is individually decorated, and some great paintings from a local artist adorn the common areas in both houses. Alison is quick to help with directions, suggestions, or assistance with arrangements for local activities. The couple take the comfort of their guests very seriously, to the extent of expanding their culinary repertoire for the purpose of serving a unique breakfast each morning. A three minute walk will get you to the river trail (paved walking or biking trail) which provides a naturally scenic route to the Riverwalk. Alternatively, you can walk through the historic district and into downtown San Antonio and the Riverwalk. But with local artist galleries, several nearby restaurants (two of which are outstanding), and a great outdoor "neighborhood" bar/pub, you won't need to go anywhere to enjoy yourself.

Yelp
I went to San Antonio for a wedding as was told i would be staying in a hotel. Not expecting much I was blown away when i arrived at this awesome Bed and Breakfast. I had a great room with a jetted tub, fireplace and comfy robes. I took a dip in thier pool during a warm evening, even though i don't swim. I happened to be there for a Friday night street fair they have an this place was right in the middle of all the action. Near the river, shops, awesome architecture, and if you aren't afraid of a good walk, downtown riverwalk, this is a great oasis in the middle of the city. Stay here and you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Simply fantastic. My boyfriend and I stayed in the villa room and it was gorgeous. HUGE king bed, comfy sofa, a nice tv, and loads of natural light. The staff let us both check in early and check out late and were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Speaking of, the area is so much fun! We did not expect the nightlife we saw and were pleasantly surprised. The breakfast at the mad hatter was also nice. We are definitely going to return and spend more nights at this wonderful bnb

Yelp
Loved my stay here! The bedrooms did not have the over-the-top floal design like many B&Bs in older areas. It felt like a home away from home with a pool in the back. My friend and I stayed in The Villa (King size bed, jacuzzi tub, Dish TV, large closet, comfy bed, plenty of space, and many windows). It definitely surpassed my expectations. The owners are a lovely married couple that are there to help with whatever you need (which was very little for us). The breakfast is served at The Madhatter's Tea House at the end of the block which was perfect! I wrote a review about them as well. Check-in and check-out were easy. The location is within walking distance to The Alamodome (which we needed for an event) and the Riverwalk. I did not use my car the entire weekend. Bring comfy shoes. I will definitely return and tell my friends!

Yelp
Best time ever, wonderful staff, beautiful warm, cozy and comfy room! Hot tub was a treat, bed was a delight and the soft plush robes a nice surprise! The hostess Abby was absolutely charming, room comes with keurig coffee maker with coffee cups and the extras, complimentary soaps, lotions and shampoo with conditioner , clean crisp quiet environment lots to do close by and has private parking, vouchers for free breakfast included for the mad hater a few yards down, will be returning in the future, will not go to hotels after this amazing bed and breakfast experience! Tip( ask for hot tub room if that's something you want) not all rooms bring one!

Yelp
Lovely little bed and breakfast right in the King William (big, fancy historical houses) area of town, about a 15 minute walk to the end of the Riverwalk. We only stayed one night and had to leave very early to catch a flight (the owners kindly left coffee and pastries out for us) but if we ever came back we would stay here again. The rooms were decorated very nicely, the backyard and pool area was beautiful and the house was very well maintained. We stayed in the Rose Room and paid around $100 with tax.

Yelp
Great place - especially for group gatherings. And even though there are restaurants and bars as close as across the street there is very little noise to contend with and it still feels safe and homey. The pool is nice, although the pool lighting needs work. There needs to be just a bit more light outside, in general. I also heard some of the group complain a bit about the lack of extra toilet paper in some of the rooms. My room had a bag for the hair dryer but no actual hair dryer. All minor issues. Love the coffee and other amenities. Over all...Thanks for two years in a row of greatness for our large group reunion. I'm sure we'll be back!

Yelp
This place is wonderful! Craig and Alison are super friendly and warm and welcomed us with a beer, even though we were almost an hour later getting in than we had planned and it was dark out already. We chatted with them in the living room for at least a half an hour before even checking out our room. We got to stay in their favorite room, The Verandah Room. It's got a wrap-around second-story porch that you get to by walking through a GIANT WINDOW. Rad, people. Like Pascale, we also happened to be there for the First Friday Art Show. There was lots of music, galleries, wares, and food up and down the street. Then we walked by the river a while and saw ducks and a spider eating a junebug. But when we got tired of the crowds, we just went back to our awesome verandah and made margaritas in the room. It was party time, but all easy-going and shit. Breakfast of huevos rancheros was delicious and artfully presented. I was sad to leave and would definitely return! Thanks, Craig and Alison!

Yelp
Just spent the weekend here and it was amazing! The house was perfect, beds super comfy and the owners are so sweet! I can't wait for an excuse to do another weekend there!

Yelp
"Service was phenomenal, meals delicious, ambiance was peaceful" When I arrived I was impressed by the enormity of the bed and breakfast. The owners greeted us and took our luggage to our rooms. They were kind and welcoming. The rooms were cozy and private. Loved the fresh flowers everywhere. The breakfast was homeade and delicious. The location was in the historic German section of town with lots of art and cottage industry shops. When I return to San Antonio I will definitely stay at Kings Williams Manor again. Huge fan!

Yelp
This is a wonderful place to stay with groups. There are many large, comfortable rooms with private baths, great indoor and outdoor gather spaces, a nice pool, and it is close to great restaurants and downtown San Antonio. I have stayed there twice now with groups, and I will be back again! This place is awesome!

Yelp
I just had my first visit to the King William Manor and it surely will not be my last. I won't spend too much time talking about the hospitality of the owners as other reviewers of already pointed that out. But it is true. They genuinely care about your comfort. I had already heard good things about the KWM and had high expectations. They were exceeded at every turn. The rooms are great, (especially the Veranda room) and the grounds are peaceful and relaxing and much larger than I expected. When you go make sure to explore the neighborhood as the homes are beautiful, the watering holes are friendly and you will be very close a terrific stretch of the River Walk.

Yelp
Just spent the weekend at this incredible place. We felt immediately at home upon check-in. Room (Bella) was gorgeous & immaculate, as was the rest of the property. The owners are wonderful, making sure we had everything we needed, including plenty of space. We felt like we had our own private manor. Swam in the heated pool & just took in the beautiful grounds. THIS is our new home away from home in San Antonio!

Craig C.

Yelp
I can't say enough nice things about King William Manor. I was meeting up with a large group that gathers in San Antonio for a weekend every summer. In years past we had be scattered all over downtown in separate hotels and properties. One of our group found King William Manor in an online search. We had the best time. Our group had all the rooms in the Guest House, Stone House and Casita. We could gather at the pool, use the kitchen in the Stone House and just enjoy being together. The area around the Manor is full of things to do and nightlife. Friday and Saturday night there was live music across the street that we could enjoy from the property. (don't worry, they quit early enough to not be a nuisance!) Alison couldn't have been more helpful and I even bothered Abby on Saturday and she couldn't have been any friendlier! If you want to enjoy a wonderful slice of San Antonio away from the crazy "touristy" stuff (but close enough if you want) King William Manor is a must!

Yelp
A very pleasant overnight at the King William Manor. It's clean and pretty and in an excellent location on S. Alamo Street, right in the heart of Southtown. A short walk to the Blue Star galleries and an even shorter walk to the Mad Hatter, San Antonio's funky, wonderful tea shop. They also serve locally roasted coffee that is really excellent. We stayed very comfortably in the Gulf Breeze Room.
