Arrived late evening, nobody on reception (2nd floor walk-up) so a scruffy individual offered to go down to the bar and find the gentleman for me. Some 20 minutes later, he turns up in a vest, and gives me a key to what I have only found at 'no-tell motels' in my youth. Pink walls, single bed, no a/c, warm air being pumped out of the dining room and noise from the bar downstairs. No other rooms available and too tired to find anywhere else, I stayed the night. Bathroom was small, with basic shower facilities, wifi was not working and the grainy tv was high on the wall, seemingly too far for the remote control to reach! Breakfast was cold buffet opposite the reception, a few rolls with warm yogurt, sweaty cheese and meat. The coffee was good, however, as is the hotel's central location. Just as well, as I could walk away from the place to get some food and enjoy what is otherwise a very pleasant town to visit.
