Hotel Kino Bar, Loge AG

Really cool modern hotel a ten minute walk from the train station. Friendly staff, good breakfast, and the opportunity to see a film on a big screen again was very much appreciated.

I love coming to your place. You're all kind and attentive. Don't change too much, keep that family feel! And thank you again for the wholemeal bread!

Super friendly staff, funky combination between hotel, movie theater and bar, newly renovated rooms, shared room with free coffee for all guests, free entry to the movies, located in a beautiful pedestrian zone. My only gripe is the design of the bathroom, the sink is too low and the towel holders even lower. Not handy for old fogeys like me with lower back pain.

Home away from home. Clean, quaint hotel in a fantastic location for foodies and shoppers. The staff are the stars of the hotel. I felt like I was staying with friends. Thank you! - To the wonderful lady in charge of breakfast every morning and all the front desk staff. Special thanks to Sandro (the super star) and Isabel (My dream girl 🥰). They are a wealth of knowledge for anyone seeking information about the area. With plenty to do and even free movie theater tickets, You won't be disappointed.

The first room I was put in was filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned after the last visitor (except bedding was changed). Even though I checked in just before the reception closed, the receptionist on duty was really kind and let me change rooms. Sadly the second room I got wasn't much better due to the build up of grime over time which hasn't been addressed but at least I could see there was a light clean since the last visitors. The hotel in general needs some TLC as there is a lot of grime & cosmetic damage that can and should be easily fixed (e.g LOADS of scuff marks and cracks on the majority of corners & walls). It is a shame because the hotel is quirky and I liked some of the décor choices which gave a retro vibe to the place. Big shoutout to the staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful!

Amazing hotel with comfy and clean rooms and super friendly staff. The location is very close to the train station and in the middle of the city. On top of this they have an absolutely brilliant gin bar, with a lot of different gins (and tonics!) as well as other drinks.

This is a review regarding the cinema inside the premise only, I can't speak for its hotelier capacities. This being a hotel from the outside, the cinema is a little hidden. It is this clandestine quality which is responsible for the cinema's special charm, at least in my opinion. The theaters are quite small and therefore really comfortable and cozy to be in🎥. Screenings are offered in several languages which is typical for Swiss cinemas. Four out of five stars for me, even though they don't make fresh popcorn as of this point in time. They've got other packaged snacks though, for example crisps and ice cream, sweets etc.
