Hotel Kitzhof Mountain Design Resort

Just returned from another marvelous summer vacation in the same hotel, the hotel is situated well near the center of Kitzbuhel. Walking distance from the two main lifts and very close to a public free parking space. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, service is very nice and accommodating, they have a great bar with a balcony one can hang in during day and night. They offer what I think is the best restaurants in town and breakfast is amazing. They are dog friendly. Gluten free friendly.

The rooms and facilities are truly exceptional, and the central location in Kitzbühel is quite appealing. However, parking can be a challenge when the hotel is near full capacity. Regarding dining, the breakfast service was excellent, thanks to some highly motivated staff. Dinner service was excellent on some days but unfortunately fell short on others, with issues such as incorrect orders, forgotten orders, lengthy wait times between courses, and bland dishes. It is a pity.

We are extremely satisfied with the hotel – everything was excellent. The hotel facilities such as the rooms, spa, pool, bar, and restaurant were all very good. On top of that, the atmosphere at the hotel was fantastic – a warm, family-like feeling despite it being a fairly large hotel. The staff were overall amazing, and especially the concierge Tomas, who was outstanding. I highly recommend the hotel, and we would be happy to return.

Wonderful family holiday in Austria! Close walking distance to the gondola or daily shuttle from the hotel was available. The breakfast was delicious and easily accommodated my son with celiac allergy and gluten free needs. Bar/restaurant area was so accommodating as well and family friendly and my birthday celebration amazing! Spa/pool was a perfect escape after skiing and opened till 10pm! Wonderful vacation would certainly recommend!!

The concierge we met today was outstanding. I've stayed and visited many 4 and 5 star hotels that just leave you feeling like something was missing. From the second we walked in the door this concierge went out of his way for us. We had had a really stressful morning. We needed some time to take a breath and found this hotel for a day spa. He walked us there but no one was at reception. He did everything he could to follow up for us, checked with the other concierge, checked with reception and more. In the end he got us robes himself. It was a turning point for our whole trip. We are so grateful. It felt like the type of service you would have gotten years ago but is often missing today. The masseuse and relaxation room were amazing but the concierge was the highlight for us and the main reason we would visit again. We said thank you when leaving but it meant a lot. I wish we got your name. I hope this finds itself to you. Thank you

Absolutely loved this hotel, we stayed there for 3 nights and would have stayed longer as the town of Kitzbuhel is so charming. The staff was great, the lobby was huge and had so many comfy lounge chairs/couches to have a drink in the evening alongside complimentary bar snacks which is always a nice touch. We also appreciated the real fireplace and live music every night (first week of January so this could have been for the holidays). The rooms are beautifully designed with great toiletries, chocolates placed on pillows and all of the housekeeping staff we encountered were wonderful. We also appreciated the large gym with beautiful views, 5 min walk to the center of town and the breakfast buffet was amazing. There was also a complimentary shuttle that took us to the train station. Thanks for a great stay!

Such a beautifully designed hotel, run by a very caring and efficient team. There was always space to sit in the bar/lounge and enjoy the ambience, and the breakfast offering is impressive. The beds are extremely comfortable and the hotel is very quiet.

My son and I stayed at the Kitzhof for a spring ski trip. Everything was perfect -- the vibe, decor, and especially the service. Cannot say enough good things...particularly about the concierge Tomas (who went above and beyond for us).

Excellent 4 stars hotel: from warm and welcome fireplace lobby with complimentary lemon water dispenser, full breakfast, indoor pool with complimentary bottle water, fresh apples. The room had only one queen bed so preferred a king or double beds for the 4 of us. They finally sent up the extra bed after 2nd nights. Despite the rainy weather since we been here, I am sure the view would be spectacular. We sure made use of the indoor pool given the gloomy weather. We dine at the main restaurant. The ambience was warm and cozy without being over done with wood mountain theme. Expect most dishes to be 22 euros and up. The soup are 8 euors. However the tiriamisu for 12 euros is kinda pricey. I liked the separate toilet room from the shower and the rain style shower head was great. Also, the bathrobes and slippers are great touches. On our walk they even provided umbrellas. I think this is the nicest 4 stars hotels(we have stayed many in the states) we have stayed especially in Europe since most are tiny and even at same price. Given the fact that summer is lower season for this ski resort area so priced were reasonable. This hotel truly lives up to being a 4 stars providinf luxury touches without charging. Well the mini bar is charged. The toiletries are larger than most hotels. They also have a spa. I am blown away by the complimentary breakfast! Most hotels provide simple hot and cereals. They have the full blown fancy with champagne, fresh juices, tea, yogurts, cut fruits, breads, croissant (even chocolate filled), sliced salmon, so many teas to choose from. It reminded me of the variety from cruises. I would highly recommend this hotel for a holiday or getaway.
