Hotel Klárov

A very good hotel in Prague. The location is excellent, convenient, and close to many main attractions. The breakfast was okay, with a decent selection. I really liked the interior of the hotel; it had a cozy Christmas atmosphere. The service was great, and the staff were extremely kind, friendly, and always willing to help. The only downside is the soundproofing. You can hear a lot from the neighboring rooms, and noise from the corridor is very noticeable when people are talking. I woke up several times during the night because of this. Overall, I would recommend the hotel, especially for its location, atmosphere, and staff.

Overall, my experience was not what I expected for the price paid. The room size was good, and the hotel is very well connected — close to the metro and tram, and within walking distance of major tourist attractions. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special. The selection was the same every day, which became repetitive during our stay. The biggest issue, however, was a serious safety problem in the room. One of the drawers fell down when my wife opened it because the legs were broken. The drawer had clearly been left in that condition. This could have caused a serious injury — if it had been my child, our holiday might have ended in the hospital. The “solution” provided the next day was simply removing the legs and leaving the drawer in the room completely unusable, which felt careless and unprofessional. Considering the price, the quality and level of attention did not meet expectations. For the same cost, we could have stayed somewhere with much better service and safety standards. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel.

A truly wonderful hotel, situated in a great location right beside the river, with stunning views of the castle. Great access to the trains and all public transport and a short, charming walk to Harlem’s bridge and the beautiful old town square. The rooms are beautiful and very big, and the staff were so helpful. Would definitely stay again 😊

We stayed in this hotel for our wedding and it was the best decision we could've made. The location is 10\10- being near the tram and metro, had no problem getting anywhere. The view from our hotel window was magical. The breakfast was very lovely as well. Philip in the reception was very warm and welcoming and helped with everything we needed. :)) Overall, we 100% will be back in the future!

We had a great time in Prague, the hotel was ideal in terms of its location. It was right next to a Tram stop and a Metro. The Castle was a 10 minute walk from the Hotel. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, with the few issues we had being handles very quickly. The rooms are large but then lighting is a bit poor and it could do with a update. The Breakfast was very good and filling. It is expensive but most decent Hotels in Prague are expensive but I would still recommend this Hotel.

Our suite was very spacious, clean and quiet. Beds very comfortable. The architecture of this hotel building is quite beautiful. The location is very central. I did not give the full 5 stars as I felt their breakfast was a let down. I love to have plenty choice & variety especially with fruits/yogurts and this was not the case unfortunately. However, the hotel location, room size and peaceful ambiance still makes it a very good option.

The experience at Hotel Klarov was exceptional. First and foremost is the staff: Michaela, the reservations manager, Daniel, Marketa and Phillip who were at reception, were all outstanding in providing service and their willingness to assist my wife and me with restaurant reservations, ideas of where to go, etc. Second, the room was spacious and well-appointed. Third, the breakfast provided was very good. The location is excellent: short walks to Mala Strana on one side of the Vltava and Old Town across the bridge. I would highly recommend to anyone coming to Prague (Praha).
