Beautiful historic wooden hotel. If you like the appeal of log cabins and rustic lodges, this is the place for you. Bonus that it is only a five minute walk to the waterfront activity on one side, or equal distance to shopping the other direction. No need to get in your car here. Simple but comfortable rooms balanced by a cozy bar and a great breakfast buffet.

The Knysna Log Inn hosted 2 of our client year end functions and we have only had positive feedback from the clients. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The food was fresh and tasty and Juan will work with you to create the perfect buffet that suits your functions needs. Clean and light/bright open dining area. Great work team!

Architecturally interesting building largely made of wood. The staff were friendly and welcoming.|The room needed a deep clean as did the furniture. The food was average.|Better suited to large groups. Conveniently located for the waterfront area.

The Chrismas lunch was enjoyable ,with tasty food and a warm,festive atmosphere. The staff was very nice and friendly, making it a great way to celebrate Christmas 🎄

This has been my dream hotel to experience since childhood and finally visiting did not disappoint. It’s central, right near the Knysna Waterfront, great deals, and is perfect for families and large groups! I can’t wait to be back with my guests
