Hotel Kö59 Düsseldorf - Member of Hommage

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. However, the air conditioning was very weak and took a long time to cool the room. The service was excellent — the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The reception team, in particular, was outstanding and made a great impression. Parking, however, was a hassle. It’s paid parking during the day and only free from 9 p.m. until morning. For guests, it would make a big difference if the hotel provided complimentary parking. To be honest, if the parking issue were solved, I would definitely come back. We ordered two colas through room service and were surprised by the price — €20 including a service charge, which felt excessive. The bathroom was very spacious and stylish, though the glass and blind setup didn’t offer much privacy. The hotel’s design is beautiful, and the location is fantastic — it’s in a lively area where you can just walk outside and start shopping or exploring. Despite a few inconveniences, I really enjoyed my stay overall.

This stay was a very pleasant surprise. I have been to Dusseldorf a few times and this was an exceptional place to be. Right next to the canal and across the shopping malls. There is a very swanky Bar right next to the reception that gathers people from the city. Everything is quick, courteous and efficient. The hotel is luxurious in the more traditional way. The breakfast buffet is slightly cramped, but the quality is there. I had the most unexpected thing happen today. I had just arrived for breakfast and they (someone) remembered my coffee order and had it waiting for me by the time I came back with my plate. WOW. This place had hundreds of people staying at the time.

Great 5 star hotel. Many rooms have an inner hotel foyer view which is what we got. Not recommended as no privacy unless curtains fully shut. Breakfast has a good variety but not the best.

I recently stayed at Kö59 Hotel in Düsseldorf — a very nice downtown property with a pleasant ambiance and an excellent location. I knew the hotel from its days under the InterContinental brand, and I must say the new management is doing a great job maintaining its high standards.||The only area that could be improved is the breakfast, which I found to be somewhat below the overall quality of the hotel.||Overall, a great stay — I would definitely return!

Very good location for shopping and amenities. The restaurant in the hotel provides superb food and breakfast buffet satisfied all wishes. Begging people near shops behaving dangerous and bothering.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights as we were in the city for a wedding. I think the hotel is really nice but the rooms seem a bit dated. We stayed in the king room and it was very big and comfortable. All the amenities a 5* hotel should have is in the room. Sheets and bed were very comfortable. I couldn't get the chromecast to work in my room which was a bit frustrating and also the tablet in the room for room service. I also went to the Sauna. Finnish sauna was great but the pool and whirlpool? were not working, but this is a separate business that operates with the hotel (Homers? Palace) They also take 150€ deposit when you check in which I find quite strange, but no issues getting it back. I was also disappointed that the bar was closed off for a birthday. Its a good luxury hotel and is huge but many small details were missing to elevate it further.

Hello friends I am telling my experience regarding the cheap way they acted with me. As soon as we checked in we were changing me and my wife at the room. Suddenly one staff entered the room without knocking on the door. And he stopped at the middle of my room 🤯. After telling the reception they were negotiating with me for the price of my privacy. I am not looking for making a deal with them. But as the way they acting was making me feel so cheap. The offered me 40€ for my privacy 😞💔🤯. I told the. I am not negotiating anything. But as you will act i will decide if the hotel is respectful or not. As a result of what happened. They are really thinking as customers we are as cheap as nothing!!! After today big X for this hotel and never come back to it again.
