Imagine your worst hotel experience and double it.||My room keycard failed 6 times in 2 days. No real response from staff. Had to call maintenance twice to physically fix it.||Cockroaches running all over the bar, made comment to barman who just shrugged. He could hardly be bothered to look up from his phone. ||Shower was terrible with. More leaks than water coming out of the head. ||Breakfast buffet was not good, no coffee, no butter and no glasses for juice. Staff standing around talking. Food was miserable and covered in flys. ||Stayed in Havana many times and I know there are issues but have always had a pleasant hotel experience with friendly staff. This place is simply awful. Avoid it at all costs.||We used to stay here pre Covid and it was a great thriving hotel, I don’t know what has happened but it has seriously declined. We left after 2 days and found another hotel.

Very nice place to spend a few days in Havana. The breakfast was pretty much good, there was everything you'd need to eat well. The room was tidy and neat with a picturesque balcony.

I spent a week at the hotel, which suffers from many material deficiencies, but the attention of each and every one of the employees is exquisite and compensates for any difficulty. I would like to know that the Gaviota group gives more support to this excellent team of workers. The rooms are spacious, cleanliness and room service are maintained. I would definitely return to this hotel.

First I will begin by saying how I have been a regular customer of this hotel for over 3 years now, and this is the first time I have come cross this situation. I just came here today to attend the bowling area and I must say how greatly disappointed I am with the experience. My husband and I, were misinformed by the staff regarding the prices for the games, as well as what was included in the price at the entrance. The lady at the reception explained to us a completely different thing than the one we we explained my the staff when we were about to pay in the bowling area. Then, when we attempted to explain to the supervisor the situation to understand where the miscommunication came from, the supervisor proceeded to treat us like they had already explained everything to us, completely dismissing our concerns showing no empathy for the situation. The supervisor overall was very unhelpful and finally just dismissed us saying how we were the ones that did not understand ( basically if you don't like it, it's not my fault). Then after all the bad experience and poor service by the staff, the asked us for a "service fee” right before leaving, like they deserve anything else than a complaint, which I will be filling tomorrow with the manager.

Nice hotel with some parts who need to be improved. It happened to us to have demagnetized keys twice (not a big deal). Rooms aren't new (actually, seems old), but they do have nice beds, nice air conditioner (split, not that noisy) and a locker. Staff is kind of friendly. The hotel has a nice pool and a pizzeria attached to it (which I didn't tried, i'm on a diet). Also has a small shop who sells from sunblockers to alcohol. The breakfast is included and has a nice variety of food to try including a eggs made on the spot. For sure is not a luxury hotel, but it does the job on staying by a nice price with no worries. Downside: is near nowhere. Doesn't have taxis regularly around the hotel. It's far away from downtown (7 km) as is far away from fancy Miramar neighborhood (4 km). You will need taxis for both sides or 1 h walk to Miramar.

I spent in this hotel 3 nights. It is outside the city centre. Taxi costs around 8-10 CUC but you need to agree on a price before you start your taxi drive. A bus will take half an hour and cost nothing 0.1CUC. Hotel is an example of old fashioned architecture. Rooms are spacious but furniture is dated. There are 110V & 220V sockets in the room. Bathroom was nice. There is a hairdryer. Also I need to highlight that there is a hot water and good water pressure in the shower! Air condition is working. Hotel has own swimming pool and loungers. The only minus is- what the hell is going on when they are opening a restaurant? Lots of people are “hunting” for food. I have never seen anything like that in my life. I can only image that people are afraid that something will be gone soon and they will not eat everything they want. There is not enough cutlery, plates, mugs, glasses. Sometimes you stand and wait for a plate. Also I have not seen drinks to be offered which is strange. Overall, it is not bad hotel but do not expect anything besides very low average. WiFi 1 hour is for free, available only in a lobby.

The hotel is very far from the city center (15 by car). The room is big but it is not really comfortable. |You can buy internet card at the front desk and use it in the lobby. Employees are great, they are very helpful and friendly. |Overall I would not recommend this hotel as it is far from everything and you have to take a cab every time you need to go out.

This Hotel is lively and fun galore, it has a swimming pool that's open to the public, a bolero, a bar and cafeteria, the prices in Cuban CUC's there's also a Pizzeria and a small stores (clothing and necessities). There is never a dull moment at this Hotel, as it is also situated in a safe area with police officials in the area, and the hotel security are also very vigilant. The WiFi connection is not free you have to buy a WiFi card with different denominations. The hotel serves a three course buffet meal (breakfast, lunch and supper). The rooms are not bad and very colourful, there's limited double beds and the rest are two single beds per room. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and Spanish is a recommendation and goes a long way, some of the reception staff can speak English. Generally the atmosphere is nice and the people are friendly, but be careful with money in the public eye. Cuba is relatively safe and prices are regulated.
