Hotel Kompas

We stayed for 3 days, the room was nice, the receptionist and wellnes man also, but the staff (older man and middle age women) at the dinner were very unfriendly, we sat at one of the tables the next minute come the waiter and said we need to go to the other table because this one is not prepared for dinning (the table had napkins and cutlery) around 5 minutes later we saw another older couple sat there and the waiter said nothing to them, so the reason he was rude to us is because we were young also the waiter never asked us if we want to drink something beacuse we were young and it seems like he tought we dont have money (she asked all the tables around us then looked at use and just turn away) that was really dissapointing to me.||Also the food choices are pretty bad, they had like 2 different meat available, 1 fish, 1 pasta and 2 vegatble dishes and 1 potato. They had only 2 different sweet cakes. The coffee for breakfast was terrible the worse one we ever had. ||The air conditioner also not working and not bringing heat. We put it on like 26 and it was still making cold air.||The pool is really small not like in the photos, jacuzzi is half working (really bad).

We had a very pleasant stay, our room was clean. the lake is very close to the hotel,only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious. The swimming pool is nice, as is the gym with a lot of equipment. From the bar terrace there is a beautiful view of the lake.

Room was with temperature controler out of service and without posibility to switch off heating so air was dry and hot. My kid had a nose bleed because of that. We complain about it but nobody offer help, they just said that system is old and that's way it is. When I complain that I paid for air conditioned room they said that's avaiable only during summer. Hair drier was also out of service.

It’s just walking distance to the lake. Room temperature was too warm and it was not easy to sleep well at night.

Stayed there with my family during summer holiday. ||The renovated rooms that u see on the website are in reality not that good…Good photography. In my opinion the renovation was done in a cheap way. Rooms were not cosy at all. In my opinion not 4 star worthy comparing to hotels in Western Europe. Also weird that you should pay if you want to use the wellness. If you pay 200 to 300 € for a room per night, that should be included I guess.||Not all was negative. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice.||I was grateful to be able to make an agreement with the hotel to leave after 2 nights (instead of 4 as planned). View from the bar / restaurant and pool area is very nice. Pity you can’t have your breakfast on that location. That’s 1 floor down and has no view.||Prices for hotels in Bled are extremely expensive for what you get. Bled lake is a beautiful but busy touristic area. My advice would be to stay in another area with normal prices.

We stayed here for three nights on a tour and this hotel is very well situated for everything. We ate out every night as the buffet was not well attended but that is not a problem as there are lots of places to eat nearby. Wi Fi could be better as keeps dropping out.

We had a very pleasant stay, our room was clean and properly equppied with a beautiful view of the lake which is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The receptionists are very kind and helpful. We would happily return another time☺️

During booking it was not written anywhere that the sauna is 17 eur/person, either no one told it us during check in, in every places high room price includes the full wellness usage. the jacuzzi water is pretty cold. Dinner time starts at 6:30, we arrived there at 7:30, I was disappointed most of the food was cold and in the room I was not able to close the toalette door. They nicely renovated the bathroom, however so many water come out under the showers glass door and the toiletries are poor . We found a sock in the room so I’m not sure it was cleaned well. I view is nice but I’m disappointed with the equipments and services.
