Great location and view from our apartment. Good food in the bar, really fresh and filling and 50% off from 6-10pm when you are staying in a room. The only downside is music is a bit loud while you're eating. We were on 7th floor so couldn't hear the music once the balcony door was shut and weren't disturbed while sleeping. Overall excellent!

Only disappointment was that the Pool Club closed up early on a Sunday night, but I was pre-warned it would happen due to the quietness. Plus understandable with surrounding residences. Otherwise, great place to stay. Definitely book an Ocean View apartment. The decor is so nice & the service was great. Grab a beer from the bar & relax by the pool! Will be coming back again 10/10!

Good location, being 3 star the rooms are a bit on the tired side but met our expectations, lovely view from our balcony. That’s where it stopped for us. We were the couple back in December that checked out after zero sleep, thanks to another group of your guests partying until 6am. We flagged what had happened with you guys in the morning, that they had scaled your balconies, broke into your pool bar to steal booze and cranked loud music all night. You were already aware of what had gone down, apologised and offered us a refund which we actually didn’t even ask for, but appreciated the gesture. Since then, I’ve tried to follow up the refund, emailed, called, left messages and been totally ghosted. Why offer a refund and not follow through on it? We just find it really bizarre! So if you love partying and pumping loud music in your room all night then this is the hotel for you. With no night security or 24 hour reception, you can basically go as hard and as loud as you want! Everyone else that wants a decent nights sleep, read the previous reviews on here and Facebook and be warned!

We have stayed here many times and all of the rooms. The rooftop apartment has to be my favourite. The location is excellent with beautiful beach across road. These apartments are a old style but still a good choice with the great view. Weekends are noisey but a good vibe if you’re in holiday mode ... party feels! There is a bar and pool to add

The negative: Entire room floor was sticky couldn't walk around in bare feet or else they'll get get black. King bed is two stained king singles zipped together very uncomfortable extremely hard they're both at uneven heights so you feel the massive gap in the middle. Rusty washing machine is an eyesore and unnecessary just a thought why not make a laundry in the basement and renovate the bathroom as it really could do with a freshen up. Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything your neighbours are doing especially the cleaners on the floor above vacuuming in the morning so you get woken up to loud clanking noises. The towels had damp smell to them along with the whole room. Shower wouldn't drain fast enough so you ended up having water all over the bathroom floor. The lift is extremely dodgy I saw no certificate of compliance was very slow felt like it was struggling just lifting two people. The outside furniture is outdated and rusting to pieces. The toilets downstairs for the pools have massive gaps between the cubicles so anyone could just causally stare at you while you're doing your business (see photos). No "Do not disturb" sign for your front door. Spa pool heater could do with a service as it was only lukewarm water. Could hear the traffic loud and clear. Was there during the weekday so can't comment on the club downstairs but can just imagine how much noise it would emit during the weekend. Not a very social place for backpackers during weekdays. No heat pump so if it's cold you have to use the tiny throw that's located in the wardrobe. Place in general is very outdated and needs a massive freshen. The Positive: The view was good even from where my room was located. The reception lady I talked to on arrival was welcoming and informative. Free carprking in basement was great. Complimentary sweets in my room was a nice touch. Shower pressure was awesome and continuous hot water was great for the exception that when someone in another room was using their shower your shower would suddenly go either extremely hot or cold so just be vigilant. Located very close to beach and shops.

I actually can’t believe we just paid $300 for 1 night at this joint. Where do you even start..... No air conditioner, no bedside tables, no couch to relax on, TV basically sits on the floor, smells like a brothel, pumping club music downstairs by the pool until all hours. If we got charged $100 per night I would not complain but $300 what a joke! The security guard at the club was lovely in helping us checkin after hours, other than that the location is great but don’t stay here if you are looking to relax, it’s party party party at the Komune!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Komune. I was a little concerned when reading reviews before our visit. However my honest review: Location could not be better. Spectacular views of both the ocean from the living area and stunning views of the river from the bedroom. Beautiful Greenmount beach right across the road from the apartment. The pool and bar where lovely. Delicious food! Great cocktails. The apartment itself was a lit tired thus my 4 star review. Some paint scratches here and there. Old-ish furniture. But the apartment itself was spotless. The older decor was of no issue to us, but if you are expecting 5 star luxury this might not be for you. But if you are wanting a lovely, clean apartment in a spectacular location with amazing views, then this is certainly for you, as it was for us. Loved our stay and hope to be back soon.

This resort is disgusting. We paid for the top apartment $1000+ for 2 nights. The apartment is falling to pieces. The showers have grime and rust do not look or feel as if they are cleaned on a regular basis. Old toilet paper left in bathroom from previous guests. All beds are rock hard so uncomfortable to sleep on. Aircon did not do its job rooms have no fans or airflow. I would never recommend this resort to any one. If we could get our money back I would fight it!!!
