Hotel Konvice

We stayed here for 2 nights at short notice when our planned accommodation fell through. The manager was extremely friendly,spoke good English and went out of her way to help us out . The room we were given was huge ,the bed very comfortable , the shower and bathroom were excellent, modern and clean. The hotel is part of the historic centre and therefore in an old building , the furnishings may seem a little dated but actually in keeping with the building. A very pleasant stay , quiet at night and in the centre of the historic centre .

Admittedly, I had a bit of a rough stay in Cesky Krumlov, mostly because of a kayaking incident. But I remained defiant, stayed in the town, and I’m so glad I did. The Hotel Konvice served, in many ways, as a sanctuary amidst my stay. My room was massive and boasted views of the castle. Peter and his team served up a lovely breakfast and made me feel welcome. And I’m not sure any hotel can best the location of the Konvice.

A gem! Right in Old Town, an easy walk from the bus and very near to numerous restaurants and shops. Katharina was very helpful and friendly. Our room was both charming and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with eggs to order. great choice for our visit to Cesky Krumlov!!

Agata and her sister seem to be running the hotel and are doing an incredible job, with charm and efficiency and poise far beyond their years. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would recommend the hotel highly. The room was spacious, with a balcony that let us sit outside and hear the music festival playing across the town.Breakfast (included) was very complete.

The hotel is very well located in the center of the old city. The owner is kind, caring and warm-blooded. We found the best breakfast in Czechia here. Cheese varieties were very good. The terrace view is excellent. It is very nice on the terrace for breakfast. I would definitely recommend and we will be back..

Well located. One minute walk to the main square. If you are coming in to the bus station by flixbus, then you can walk to the hotel in ten minutes. Cobblestones. So if you have very heavy luggage then book a taxi.||Hotel room was spacious. Hosts are very kind and helpful. Good breakfast is included. Good hot shower. ||Book in advance for the "castle tour in english" if that is part of your plan. ||Many kitchens in the restaurants seem to close by 9 on non-peak days, so plan dinner accordingly.

With no cars in the city, sleeping in cesky krumlov is very quiet and peaceful. Hotel konvice is central ( though everything is central in cesky krumlov ). Spacious clean rooms in an old house.|Owner is helpful and full of information with a frank and direct manner.|Beds and pillows are very soft,offering little support. Addition of a kettle in the room would be nice.|Good fresh breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order.|Sad to see what was clearly a thriving hotel now still struggling post COVID. Restaurant is closed and no staff. Hopefully given time it will once more flourish.

Great stay in a 15th-century building, fully renovated. We loved the suite, the premium service, tasty and fresh breakfast, and the whole atmosphere. The location is super accurate- near by the old center, but quiet enough to relax. We will highly recommend to our friends and will come again.

We loved it here. The view from the terrace is lovely and the food was very good. Had the trout and goulash and a dark beer. Wait staff was super friendly and helpful. Would happily eat here again.

We had a really nice lunch here which in CK for the day. Quaint outdoor seating area with great views of the Vltava River and the castle and steeples. I had pork and cabbage with dumplings (kind of like slices of thick bread, apparently a regional thing), very good with a good hearty brown sauce. My wife had a nice pork schnitzel and fries. Definitely recommend it for the food and view. Service was good.

Terrible food, terrible coffie, catastrophic service... I was visiting this restaurant for last 10 years...dont know what happened, but seriously... Right now its in 1 star quality

Restaurant meal was ok, not outstanding. The strange thing is that they took our credit card at lunch but not at dinner. The same server said that it was not possible and yet we have the receipts to prove it. Were we scammed?
