A great location 10 minute walk from the ferry drop off and the old town. Very comfortable rooms overlooking the water.||The breakfast is top notch with the usual international buffet including the usual choice of eggs. The breakfast service was excellent even though they ran out of English breakfast tea!||We were fortunate to have a suite overlooking the harbour, and it was a fabulous room, with all the benefits such as coffee/tea making facilities, lounge, mini bar, hobs, etc. The only disappointment was a lack of fresh milk for the tea, and an extremely limited choice of tea.

Don’t trust the parking there! We left our car with the valet there, they left the car outside of the hotel all night in a “no parking” zone and we ended up getting a parking ticket. To make matters worse, they didn’t even lock the car overnight and left the key inside!! So much for trustworthy valet. The front desk said they would take care of the parking ticket but we just received a notice in the mail from Korcula with an overdue fine which also has legal repercussions for us. Ugh what a nightmare now.

I'd like to start off and say I usually stay in big chain hotels because of a large footprint, corporate help lines, loyalty rewards. Given all that i was a little nervous in Croatia since there aren't any chains in the old towns. Hotel Korsal was phenomenal. Edo was an excellent concierge and was super responsive. We arrived early and he kept our bags and even brought them to our room when the room was ready. The other concierges were also extremely friendly and wiling to help give recommendations. The location is outside of old town which is nice because old town does get quite busy with people walking narrow streets. The view is great and there is a beach just out front Breakfast bar could be better but it was nice that it was included with the stay

This was a beautiful and charming hotel, 5 minutes from everything. Their breakfast spread was amazing, staff was top-notch, and view of docks and Adriatic sea..amazing. Ask the hotel clerk to connect you with the boat excursion that included wine tasting, touring the islands, and a delicious food spread. We will return!!

Special mention to Edo (I think his name was) at the front desk for attention to detail and absolute class hospitality. He knows what he's doing and does his job well, very friendly character. Took good care of my parents and I and made us feel very at home in the comfortable boutique hotel. Thanks!

First the positive. The views are lovely and the staff is wonderful (incredibly helpful -- my husband left medication in our previous hotel and they arranged to have it sent on the next ferry). The hotel has huge potential but sadly falls short of even a three-star rating. I don't understand the four-star rating. The room has no amenities. Forget slippers and a robe -- I am referring to basics like a shower cap and vanity set. The bed is a thin, rock-hard mattress on a wooden frame. The towels and sheets are exfoliating--scratchy and scratchier. The bathroom is miniscule. The coffee machine leaked water all over the floor and wasn't replaced--or even cleaned up properly. The buffet breakfast is fast-food like in an area with gorgeous fresh, farm grown produce, home-made prosciutto and cheeses - and they charge 4 euros extra for a cappuccino. I was told, with the top two hotels booked, this hotel is the best Korcula has to offer--so book early and beware! If you do stay, lower your expectations and maybe you won't be so disappointed.

Positives: |- Beautiful location, nice sea views, 5 minute walk into the marina/old town area|- Beach in front of hotel was nice, small comfortable pebbles to lie on and the hotel provided beach towels|- Staff all very friendly, especially the two girls who served us during breakfast time each day|- Breakfast was a good selection and not crowded like in some bigger hotels where it can feel chaotic|- Air conditioning in the room was very good||Unfortunately, I’m not sure how this hotel has managed to get a 4* rating in comparison to other hotels we have stayed in. We had booked a sea view room which was disappointing with the tiniest little window making the room feel dark - also very small so hardly room to even unpack suitcase. When we arrived, the room was dirty, lots of hairs and dirt all over floor and around edges of floor which I asked to be cleaned again, the management team were apologetic and dealt with this for us. The bedroom/bathroom were generally dated, mould/damp in bathroom, no hot water from the sink tap, the bin was stained with something sticky and also broken, facilities in room were poor, shower leaked on bathroom floor and never drained through the plug hole so essentially standing in deep puddle of water every time we showered. |We felt this hotel was overpriced for what we actually received :-(

Service excellent. Breakfast very good. Location - about 200 metres from the port along a flat road. Bed - a super king. Room spacious. Bathroom good size. Clean. |and after we checked out, they let us come back late afternoon and collect our luggage and use a spare room to have a shower and change.||The only negative is the 18 steps to get from the road to reception and, for us, another 18 or so steps to get to our first-floor room. There are higher floors. Of course, without climbing the steps, you can't benefit from the views from the terrace while having breakfast.||All staff we encountered spoke very good English.
