Hotel Kras

This hotel has nice big rooms and a nice friendly lounge and dining room leading out into the square. The underground car park is excellent. Good location to look round the sights of Slovenia

We recently spent a night at Hotel Kras during our honeymoon tour of Slovenia, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, surprising us with a lovely honeymoon welcome gift. The room was comfortable, the amenities were top-notch, and the view from our window was breathtaking. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Postojna and its surroundings. Thank you, Hotel Kras, for making our honeymoon memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Had a delightful stay for 5 nights, and there’s nothing I can complain except for the coffee machine that keeps running out of water/coffee during breakfast 😄 Service ✅ amenities ✅ housekeeping ✅ all in all, the perfect place to stay in Postojna! PS: laundry is done by third party but with no added fee

Good location, (paid) parking onder the hotel. Friendly and helpfull staff. Room (418) was big enough. Airco with to much noice, opening window did not help because also a lot of traffic noice. Breakfast was ok. You can walk from the hotel to the caves, not that far via the river. The hotel was better than the caves ,,😉

Our weekend stay at this hotel was nothing but amazing. We had a room on the third floor that was really spacious and was able to accommodate our family of three comfortably. The room had a really large bed where we were all able to sleep (mom, dad and our son) and also had a small couch for relaxing during the day after visiting the surroundings. Service was amazing and the room was really clean. Breakfast offers a wide variety of options as well. I 100% recommend it, especially to families with kids. Restaurants are at a walking distance and the hotel is located just a few steps away from a playground and the town’s main square

Good hotel with big rooms in a good location. Like others have said parking in the lot across from the hotel will save on car park fees. The only issue we had was we had someone who had several dogs in the adjacent room. At 11pm they were howling and baying. The hotel had no process for dealing with that when we called reception.

This should not be a 4 **** place. There's no gym, no spa, no restaurant, no 24/7 reception. Breakfast variety is outrageously poor. I've stayed in some 3 *** places where the breakfast possibilities were twice as much compared to this one. Rooms are quite big, clean, you have safe, hair dryer kettle etc. Unfortunately heating is not a strong suit of the place. In the toilet for instance was colder than the Postojna cave. Staff is okey, parking is 6€ daily. Conclusion: it's still kinda cheap so if you're looking for a good deal you might get one here. If you can compromise.

Read on for details.||||Located in the heart of the Postonja downtown, the Hotel Kras is an easy walk to a variety of dining places as well as the Postonja Cave. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was better than most with a nice array of items. The WiFi was solid. There were no deficiencies.||||If I return to Postonja, I'd stay here again.
