Hotel & Restaurant Krebs with Garden-Terrace

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Krebs. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Interlaken West station, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with local tips and directions. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with beautiful mountain views. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a good variety of choices. Overall, a great stay that made our Interlaken trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Only a few minutes walk from Interlaken West Train .Great hotel, room had a balcony looking over to the snow covered hills.|Room was pleasant, with a comfortable bed, a coffee machine and a bar fridge.|Breakfast was good, with variety of foods. We ate on site one night and the food and service was lovely. We also had drinks at the on site bar. All staff were very lovely. There is a beautiful little resident cat who loves to lay around on the reception staff chairs. We will be back again in 2026.

My family had a wonderful experience at Hotel Krebs Interlaken. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious options, and the location was perfect—close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Highly recommended for anyone.

I stayed here for 1 night and had dinner at the restaurant and breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and quiet (facing the back), we had 2 free bottles of water, and the air conditioning was working because it was very hot in Summer. I did not like the bed, the mattress was way too soft. I did not ask at reception to change rooms, because it was just for one night, so I don't know if that would have worked. Staff were very nice and spoke English, and breakfast was ok. They also had parking spaces available on the other side of the road (for a fee), which was very convenient. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and service was nice and fast. The spare ribs were super tasty, and the meat and cheese platter for 2 was delicious.

I just stopped by for the restaurant, as I saw they have an option for non-alcoholic fondue, and some vegan options. We ordered the truffle fondue, pumpkin risotto, rosti, fish and chips. Everything was very good!! We really enjoyed the fondue. By far however, the best part was our server Jurys! He was very kind, friendly, and had excellent service! Just a great person overall. We would def come back if we could!

Swiss Experience at Hotel Krebs I recently stayed at Hotel Krebs in Interlaken and had a fantastic experience! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. A special mention goes to the reception team– all of them were incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The location is also excellent, right in the heart of Interlaken with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. It's just 3 minutes walking from Interlaken West railway station! We tried the delicious Swiss cuisine served at the hotel restaurant. The fondue was rich and flavorful and the "hot stone" grill was delicious. A special thanks also goes to Peter (who was very nice and attentive) and, in general, to the entire service team. All of them were really helpful and made me feel truly cared for. **We got 10% off on the menu as we were Hotel guests. I highly recommend Hotel Krebs to anyone visiting Interlaken who’s looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service.

It is located right between two train stops, so it is walkable. They do give you a bus pass, is walking is not an option. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were nice. The rooms were clean but slightly dark. Restaurants and shops were nearby.

Great location to Interlaken West station- 2 minute walk. The hotel has a rustic charm, but with that, there are things that you must be willing to endure. If you are a light sleeper, the thin walls may keep you awake. We had room 203- It had a great view of the street below and we enjoyed watching the traffic, the horse carriages, and the paragliders. But, room 203 has a terrible creaking floor! It can wake you up at night and I am sure the room below hates it as well. The AC in the room does nothing. As I write this review, we are in another hotel in Zurich. And the same shower/tub design is the same as the Krebs Hotel! You have to step up into the tub (almost three feet) and getting out is a safety nightmare. You have to exit the tub backwards as there is nothing to hold onto if you try getting out going forward. We tried the restaurant once for lunch and the service from Doris and Anh was fantastic. Do not order the Fish and Chips. Coop market is right next to the hotel, so there are plenty of food options to save from the high cost of restaurant dining. The hotel offers umbrellas for rainy days, are there is a private parking lot for 15 francs a night. The housekeeping lady we dealt with a few times was a true delight. She always made sure we had what we needed.
