Hotel Krone Tübingen

We just left Hotel Krone after a five day stay. Our air conditioned junior suite was large and very comfortable. The hotel was quiet. Breakfast buffet was so good with so many delicious options. But the best part was all of the staff working there. From the front desk, cleaning staff, and the breakfast servers, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Just some of the best customer service anywhere. Highly recommend stay there. I could also write a separate review for all of the wonderful people in Tübingen. Taxis, tourist information, bus drivers, store clerks, restaurants… all were equally friendly and polite and helpful. A great place to visit.

5 stars 5 stars 5 stars! This hotel never disappoints. The food, the reception, the decor, the rooms, the beauty. I was so lucky to get a summer deal in the middle of Aug 2025 as a solo traveler to this hotel because I know it is one of the only hotels in Tuebingen to offer A/C (and I was so grateful for the AC). I paid a little bit more than I usually do but it was so worth it, especially with the single room, corner with the wonderful view of the Neckarbrucke and bridge. I used the coffee machine with the creamer and it felt like home. Sandra at the reception at night was particularly kind (although I believe she normally does not work the front desk). Kim was professional and offered me a boxed breakfast because I left the evening before. And ironically speaking, my name is both Sandra and Kim so that was a fun little tad-bit. Thank you once again, Hotel Krone. And I forgot to add the hotel boxed breakfast was so kind and sweet, with a whole variety offering muesli, cheeses/meats, rolls, fruit, and oj. Danke noch Mal Hotel Krone! See you again soon! (Maybe next summer!).

I have stayed at Hotel Krone twice and enjoyed it immensely. The front desk staff is welcoming and professional, the location is superb, rooms are pleasant. Shout out to breakfast staff too. I would not consider staying elsewhere in Tubingen and look forward to return visits there.

Perfect location right in the centre of Tübingen, plenty of options for eating and drinking. Small car park but we managed to find a space ok. Family room was clean and spacious with comfy bed and sofa bed. Staff were friendly and attentive. The highlight of the stay was the breakfasts - amazing! So much choice and high quality food and presentation. It was even re-stocked close to the end of the service which was great for us as we were having a lazy morning. We had an early flight and asked for the breakfast boxes - WOW, I have never seen anything like it! A perfect end to a perfect stay, thank you!

I stay here once a month when I travel for business. It is the only Hotel I will stay at tin the area. Great location, always very clean, staff efficient and friendly, beautiful artwork throughout the hotel.

11/10 charm and character. Since 1885 for a reason. Granny candy when you check in. Great breakfast don’t forget to spoon up on the raspberry jam w your croissant. Wild diorama art. Apple TV. Sauna. Central location. Great service. Nice rooms. Come on it’s the Hotel Krone: stay there.
