Hotel Krone Tübingen

A very nice hotel with very kind service. Next to station, and five minutes walk to the beautiful Altstadt. The Wellness is superb! I hope to revisit in Summer to have this nice view on Stiftskirche St. Georg from rooftop!!

Excellent hotel, five minutes away walking distance from the Tübingen train station. Excellent breakfast buffet. Sound-proof rooms. Superb service. Superb meals at the Ludwig hotel restaurant. I did not have time to try the Finnish sauna but I did check it out and it looked very enticing and clean. The rooftop view was also very nice.

We had a wonderful stay. We arrived late in the evening and there was a problem with our reservation. A week before I had changed our reservation by one night but the change hadn't been updated in the system. The staff were very kind and got everything sorted out for us. Breakfast was very nice and the location is fabulous for exploring Tubingen.

This hotel was absolutely stunning, the man at the reception was so kind and helpful, the rooms were beautiful, clean, and spacious. The wellness spa was very cool. I got to use the fitness center and it was simple but very nice. 10/10 will come back

We went to Tübingen since we want to look at the city and its University for our son. We choosed to stay at Hotel Krone Tübingen because of the location, price and its reviews, The staff at the hotel receptionist during check in was very friendly and kind. She answered all our questions. We stayed at Family room with pull out sofa. The sofa would work better for little kids, since we have 2 teenagers, it was abit tight. The bathroom was clean and reasonable size. It has closet room to store your luggages and your jackets etc. The mattress on the the master bed was quite soft for us. The room was clean and very nice. Breakfast was champion. The selection was wonderful. They had a warm selection such as pancakes, omelette, sausages and bacons. There was a raw eggs where you can boil to your liking. Many selections on breads, joghurts, fruits, salami, salmon, etc. For drinks they have great tea selection, water, several juices and even Bio Smoothies. Top choices. Location is perfect, just few steps from the bridge. Oldtown, Rathaus and Market place just few minutes walk. Bus to Tübingen Hbf just few steps away. Many restaurants and shops around. Highly recommended for sure and will stay again there when we visit Tübingen.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning to stay in Tübingen! It’s in a perfect location right before the bridge leading you into the Old City and is very walking/biking accessible. Wonderful hotel service and breakfast is included with your stay! I only wish the AC could have reached more areas of my room. I would definitely come back to this great hotel and city!

Hallway carpets need replacing. Cleaners for rooms miss a lot, don't clean floors very well. Need more drawers. Another hook in the open cupboard to hang two coats.

This was our second stay at this hotel and we continue to enjoy the location and rooms. The beds are very comfortable and the windows do a great job blocking out downtown noise; especially during the Euro Cup. It was great to watch the football games outside at the Ludwig (the hotel restaurant) and the staff there was very nice. The breakfast is excellent. One morning we had the two kind and super friendly ladies serve us, the next day the not so happy crew worked the breakfast. Parking is Euro 20 and very convenient. Hotel is also minutes walking to the train station or downtown. We'll definitely be back.
