Hotel Kumala Pantai

This hotel gives off such a warm and welcoming vibe. The staff are kind, caring, and very attentive you really can’t go wrong here. We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment at the front of the hotel. While it’s a bit of a walk to breakfast and the pool, we honestly didn’t mind the rooms were spacious, clean, and really comfortable for our family of four. With two great pools, it’s ideal for older kids, and the location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance, and the beach is just across the road. We especially loved the beach bar right across from the hotel Romy was amazing and made us feel so welcome. The kids were thrilled with the turtles and fish, and we all enjoyed the meals. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and lunches and dinners were great. A couple of small things to note: during busy times, there aren’t quite enough sun loungers or casual seating by the pool. And the outdoor lounging area could be cleaned more often, especially with squirrel droppings around. But honestly, those are minor things in an otherwise relaxing and memorable stay.

First time to this Hotel, wow beautiful gardens and staff. Lovely breakfast each morning. I stayed in A block and it was perfect. Very quiet at night. I had to spend 24 hours in my room due to bali belly, the staff went out of their way to get me anything I needed.

Excellent hotel, Clean, spacious and with a comfortable bed. Well maintained gardens and pool Breakfast buffet had many options and was very fresh and delicious. If dining in the restaurant for dinner I'd recommend reserving a table ahead of time if you want to sit outside where the band is performing.

This hotel is a great place to stay in Legian. The rooms are roomy and has a separate bathroom for privacy. The staff are lovely and the Sands restaurant has a great menu and yummy food. Ideal if you want to experience the hustle and bustle of Bali.

My partner and I stayed at Kumala Pantai for 8 nights and we were very happy with the place. - 2 good sized pools (one with pool bar) - Good sized room, clean and good air con - Great water pressure in shower - The Sands restaurant produced great food (part of Hotel) We have been to top end and low end hotels, this place was a great happy medium and presented value for money. If you like leafy grounds, you won't be disappointed. We were there during the blackout however we still had power the whole time. Situated in a great location, walking distance to everything...massages, shops, laundry, restaurants and the beach. Definitely coming back to this place.

Budget accommodation in one of the best locations in Legian. There was no kettle in my room but can get hot water for my morning cuppa from the restaurant. Rooms are basic but clean and have fridge, tv and safe. Gardens are lovely. There are two swimming pools. Overall, I’ll stay there again due to the price and excellent location.

Have stayed a few times now. The grounds are beautiful, staff are friendly, the included breakfast is good, beach access is a bonus, proximity is the draw card for us. The two pools are 👍. HKP has served us well over the years, both with and without kids - we will likely return.

Loved my stay rooms were great breakfast fabulous gardens wow. The only thing is the people who put towels on pool lounges to reserve it and leave them for hours. Not very fair
