The hotel was a very pleasant experience. It is renovated to best point needed. Not less and no more. Everybody was very polite, genuinely polite. No WiFi, nor tv in the rooms. The concept is to meet in the lobby with other guests. We liked the whole concept. Congrats to the managers. |The restaurants are also great and the breakfast is given in the bar restaurant giving the ambiance of a nice city cafe. |Bravo. We will certainly come back.

Hotel Kurhaus Lenzerheide strikes the perfect balance between hipster-inspired design, professional entrepreneurial execution, and genuine, warmhearted hospitality. Well done and keep it up!

If you’re not looking for five stars and luxurious room you are in the right place. The Hotel Kurhaus convinces with its modesty and the young, dynamic, super considered staff. We stayed at the hotel for a prolonged weekend and couldn’t have wished for more. In the winter you have place to store your skis and in the summer enough for the bikes. The hotel is situated in the middle of the village but it’s actually not important since one of the probably best bars is on the corner of the hotel.

Supernice hotel with a feeling of great hospitality! The building is old but with its own personality. The breakfast, the food in the bar and restaurant was perfect - the staff so serviceminded - Thank you! We stayed a week and Will for sure come back!

The hotel looked very luxurious. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Free croissant and coffee/tea was a nice touch. Loved the interior! Personnel at the bar were friendly and the food was reasonably priced. At this price point this hotel is the best you can get.

The triple person room is divided in two rooms and has a bit a special atmosphere. No TV, no WLAN but in a price range of USD 350 I think thats a lot for what you get. The breakfast was nice not much choices but what you got was top quality. For a USD 100 less a night I would go again.

Best suited as a massenlager Hotel or a jugendherberger. Needs a complete new face. You need to carry your bags up many stairs to arrive at the reception. The rest not for ears or eyes. But the restaurant next door is soo great I woukd give it 4 stars.

Staff was very nice and always smiling. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with a great lobby area with free coffee all day and a nice soup when heading back from the slopes. The position of the hotel is great: right in the city center, and it is possible to ski down to the hotel (OK ,100m from it), and going to the slopes can be done via the ski buses which run every 15min (50m from the hotel). On the negative side, our room was big but not very stylish and some portions of building would need a refresh. There is no pool for the evenings. And, mainly, no wifi in the room!

Yelp
CHF 140 sounded doable but not stellar... but the extras make it worthwhile. First off, the breakfast was excellent. Eggs (your choice of 4-minute or 6-minute), good yoghurt, delicious Gipfeln. Beverages included several juices, and the standard line-of-people-awkwardly-waiting-for-the-espresso-machine (no decaf, sadly). Next up was the Bergbahn passes, good at all the gondolas, aerial trams, and chairlifts in the valley. The hotel has a limited number --- I'm not sure they'll always be available, but they were for us. The older western part of the hotel dates from 1882, and was fairly newly renovated; the eastern extension was a fairly hideous concrete monolith that looked 1960s or 1970s. Oddly enough, our bathroom had a view 1 meter to the wall of the monolith. (The view from the bedroom made up for it, with a nice tableau of the Parpaner Rothorn and the Weisshorn). Finally, Skype users beware --- the free WLAN (WiFi) isn't in the rooms, only the commons areas. Not ideal, but it's something.
