My family enjoyed the location, amenities and comfort of KVL Hotel. A truly relaxing, home-away-from-home experience. It is located on the best spot to many walking distance tourist attractions and activities such as the Royal Palace, National Museum and Night Market as well as the Chaktomuk Walk Street weekend events. Needless to say that there are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. My kids truly enjoyed strolling around this area for sightseeing and feeding the birds along the riverside while I could easily fit in friend’s meetups into my busy days at the Alchemist Coffee right downstairs! Best amenities for the price. All of us had free delicious breakfast buffet with plenty of variety to start our days. Fast Wi-Fi allowed my husband and I to get some work done while sipping quality TWG Tea provided in the room. Free Hotel Tuk Tuk rides on demand to nearby attractions, safe and convenient! The rooftop Up by KVL restaurant made it possible for my couple to have a date after a long time while kids could rest comfortably in the room. The kids loved junior suite room with plenty of space to play. Large walk-in shower allowed a fun and easy shower time for the kids. I loved the L’Occitane shampoo and body wash along with other high quality toiletries that make my packing much lighter! We stayed at KVL for a total of two weeks and enjoyed it every single night. Highly recommended for a great family stay!

What am incredible experience my family has had at this hotel. The accommodations are amazing. The value is at the top of the range. The breakfast was the strongest element of value & execution. The bathrooms are very comforting in the 3 stages you experience bathrooms. I cannot possibly ooze enough about the superlatives of this experience. I've stayed in hotels around the world in a generous range of prices and this is at the top, for me. Now, you'll read my review and think I mean, there are no flaws or very little to improve and for the most part, that would be finishing touches or initial engagement. Logistics. Otherwise, they have done what can be done.

I stayed here for 3 nights and the staff are exceptionally polite, friendly and professional. The room was very clean and nicely stocked with extra toiletries. The breakfast was lovely and the hotel is very conveniently located. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. If I’m ever in Phnom Penh again I would definitely stay again.

THE BEST HOTEL I’VE STAYED AT IN PHNOM PENH!! I normally don’t write reviews for hotels at all. This one is a special exception. From the moment we checked in, which was a little earlier too but when we arrived the room was ready. To the moment we checked out, everything was impeccable and I could not recommend it enough. We booked the Executive River King room. The room was very spacious and had good and luxurious finishes. The bathroom soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner are all from L’Occitane, the robes are from Frette, and the tea bags are from TWG. An absolutely luxurious experience for a boutique hotel. Next, the location. Absolutely perfect. Not only is it right in front of the Royal Palace and National Museum. It is also along the Sisowath Quay. We stayed during a weekend and they closed this road to turn it into a Walking Street full of different food vendors. SPECIAL MENTION TO THE MATTRESS!! One of the best mattresses I’ve slept in, I want one in my room. If the hotel replies to this review may I kindly know what mattress brand you use please. Overall, if you’re thinking about staying here, stop thinking and book it right away.

Beat quality price I’ve found since I start traveling to Thailand and Cambodia 1 month ago. Luxurios, very kind, respectful and resolutive staff, practical, best location with riverview and good food. I booked for 2 nights and stayed 6 at the end

Location is excellent, near the Royal Palace, Museum and restaurants and bars. |Room with King size bed is not ideal as it takes too much space. |Service is as what Cambodia is known for, really excellent. |Rooftop bar has a very good view of the river.

Over the last two or three years we have made several relaxing short breaks to Phnom Penh. One of our favourite places to visit for an evening cocktail and nibbles is the UP rooftop bar at the KHL hotel which has the most spectacular views over the Tonie Sap and Mekong rivers. We have recommended it to friends who have been equally delighted with the drinks, tapas and friendly staff.|What a contrast to our visit on the 1st of January 2026. Changed menu, less friendly service and the worst aperol spritz we have ever been served ! It tasted like lightly flavoured ice water!. None of us finished our drink. The food was also disappointing.|It was obvious the drinks were specially prepared for ‘gullible’ tourists and were a complete ripoff. Incidentally we also asked the price of a glass of house wine and we were told 10 dollars. I see from your website it is 6.5 to 8 dollars. Again presumably the 10 dollars is the ripoff price for gullible tourists. I paid the bill but made it plain to the staff how dreadful the drinks were . |The rooftop bar is in a fantastic location and I could never understand why it is not more popular. Ripping off tourists is not the way to achieve that popularity.
