Great location. Rooms are cozy (eg cramped/small). Rooms are also expensive. AC is great but can struggle on the hottest days which happens to be when we got here. The thermostat is set for 16°c but it could only maintain around 24°c. Still better than outside which was 38°c. We purchased daily breakfast, which was pretty good, but I would recommend not doing that each day and visit other breakfast spots in the area off you're staying longer than a couple days. The breakfast choices were ok, different egg choices cooked to order, and the croissants were great. We had our choice of a room with a bathtub or one with just a shower. We chose the shower and that was the wrong choice. They didn't mention the room with the tub had a larger bed (full king) and you can get onto the bed from both sides. Our room has a smaller double bed (queen sized) and only one side is open. So if you're on the inside, have fun getting in and out of bed, especially at night. My wife also has a leg issue so I was going to go against the wall but there was no room for my CPAP machine on that side. It's a quaint boutique hotel in a central spot with great restaurants nearby and relatively easy access to the tram (subway) system. You're paying for the location. The staff are pleasant and helpful. For a European boutique hotel, this is probably one of the better ones.

A Perfect Parisian Stay at Hôtel L de Lutèce! Our stay at Hôtel L de Lutèce was absolutely wonderful. The hotel itself was charming and beautifully maintained, with a lobby that quickly became one of our favorite spots — cozy, inviting, and always offering tea, cake, and a warm atmosphere. The breakfast was exceptional, (Thank you Moses!) easily one of the best we’ve had, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended. We will be back!

The hotel is physically beautiful, but it’s the people make it truly special. Every single person bends over backwards to be kind and helpful. The breakfast service features food from the countless top-tier bakeries, cheese shops, etc. in the neighborhood. They select the best and bring it to you. Very happy with our stay.

Possibly the best location I've ever stayed in Paris; just by Notre Dame, you could hear 'the bells' every morning. We walked to all the sights including Le Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Place des Vosges and Le Marais - we even found the house where Jim Morrison of 'The Doors' met his maker! Very pretty entrance and lounge with fire. The concierge team was very helpful. We had a top floor room which did mean using the very small lift a lot but gave great views over the Paris skyline.Lovely touches and amenities like coffee machine in the room, beds made every day, afternoon tea and cake in the lounge. You can leave your baggage after checkout prior to your journey home. The area has a lot of great eateries so you can sample delicious crepes and galettes. The hotel is very old - we had a beamed ceiling in the room - and is a boutique style so all rooms and access areas are small compared to larger modern hotel chains but that's part of the charm.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel L de Lutèce in April. We wanted somewhere independent and in a location that wasn't in the centre of Paris. From the moment we stepped in to the hotel we were looked after so well. ||The hotel was clean with a very cosy feel. The afternoon tea was a lovely touch. Every member of staff we met were polite and helpful. ||We stayed in room 11 and had a street view (which we picked) and it was so lovely to be able to open the balcony door and have fresh air in the room. There was very little street noise when we stayed. ||The breakfast was one of the best we've had - I loved that we could have breakfast later. I have to mention the most delicious croissant and pain au chocolat we've had in our lives.||You're so close to the river and there are some fantastic places to eat close by. ||We cannot wait to come back!

This a beautiful small hotel. Everything is well maintained and the staff is excellent. It is in an great location with many sites and ample restaurants and stores. The Bertillion ice cream made fresh on the island is one of the best I have had anywhere. Breakfast is nice and offers it made to order from the extremely kind and attentive Moses. It’s a simple menu but very nice. He remembered my order after the second day. I would definitely stay here again.

Always a pleasure to stay at this hotel when I'm in Paris. 3 fantastic nights and a team that listens and is ready to help! If we're lucky, we stay at the right time to enjoy a very lively cheese tasting evening!

The loveliest little boutique hotel! We love the charming decor and the little sweet treats in the lobby are a nice touch. The breakfast is so delicious, all organic and local produce (the best scrambled eggs and French toast ever). Great location and a short walk from either side of the Seine. We’ve been here a few times now and it’s a favourite.
