Hotel la Aldea del Halach Huinic

This is a beautiful hotel — even better than its pictures — with a series of rooms tucked into the lush tropical gardens. The staff is super helpful. The restaurant is quite good. The pool is delicious after a hot day at the archeological site. And the location — in the jungle outside of town and about 3.5 miles from the famous ruins — is perfect for visiting the zona acheologica and the surrounding national park. We walked back from the ruins (1 1/2 hours along a paved bile/walk path that parallels the road) and along the way we heard and saw howler monkeys and flocks of parrots. You’ll hear and see them back at the hotel as well. Highly recommended!

Very Nice stay. Rooms are clean and big, the pool is also clean and big. Landscape is very pretty, jungle. We stayed for 3 nights in a 3 person room (2 queen beds and one single bed), enough space for 3. and ate mostly in the restaurant of the hotel which has a nice atmosphere and helpful staff.

The setting was great (very natural). The staff was very friendly, and the place was a great place to stay and is very close to Palanque ruins. The food and service were very good in the restaurant. There was some construction, but there no problems and no noise.

We came here with a group after a visit at Palenque archeological site and could enjoy a bit of time in the middle of the green scenario. The hotel has many rooms, all with WiFi, a restaurant and a very nice environment, apart from a lovely outside pool and jungle vibes! Highly recommended!

A nice and clean hotel with great hospitality. Would recommend. The service desk always had answers whenever needed without any trouble. There was a nice pool with great LED lights. They even put a swan in the middle of the bed which was a nice touch after a long exhausting day of adventures.

Scam alert! Stay away from this hotel if you want to have a relaxing stay They have ongoing constructions on site and starts first at 4:30 AM with preparations. Then full gas including hammers, saws, all equipments at 6:00 AM 😳 As you can imagine, even you manage to fall asleep again at 4:30 am; there is no chance to sleep after 6:00 am. On top, you have the beautiful (! ) orchestra coming from construction full speed & highest volume next to you once you are wake 🙄 Good luck with relaxation When I reported the issue at the front desk, they first blamed on the workers on site. When I asked for a solution, or compensation; they disappeared. When I insisted to talk the manager, they said that the manager is not available 😕 At the end, we couldn’t relax at all after 8 hours drive (we were coming from San Cristobal) and are super exhausted, lack of sleep before our 10 hours drive ahead. And guess what: we paid for all. There was no compensation at all If you want to have a relaxing stay and get value for your money; this hotel you definitely need to skip

Beautiful location, feels like your in the jungle and can hear the howler monkeys. And great to have a pool when it’s so hot, makes a huge difference. Only thing to note is that the restaurant is good, but if your vegan or vegetarian not many options so probs need to go into town.

Good place, clean, well located as it is close to the ruins and to the city center so it’s easy to move around Palenque. There is a large parking. ||The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with AC. ||The staff was really nice and helpful to arrange for tours, taxis … I’d definitely recommend it!

Wow, me gustaría poder vivir aquí. Este es uno de los mejores hoteles en los que me he alojado. Este hotel está rodeado de una hermosa naturaleza con todo tipo de plantas y animales alrededor, es el hotel MÁS LIMPIO en el que me he alojado, las almohadas son muy suaves y el interior de las habitaciones es muy espacioso. Hay una hermosa piscina y un restaurante en la propiedad, y este hotel es muy accesible con una rampa para llegar al vestíbulo, terreno plano (pero con colinas) para llegar a las habitaciones y comida que puede pedir a su habitación o a la piscina. Incluso las duchas de las habitaciones son accesibles (ver fotos). Recomiendo 100% alojarse aquí. ¡Ojalá pudiera vivir aquí! ¡Estoy emocionado de volver otra vez en el futuro! Wow I wish I could live here. This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. This hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature with all kinds of plants and animals around, it is the CLEANEST hotel I've ever stayed at, the pillows are so soft and it is so spacious inside the rooms. There is a beautiful pool and restaurant on the property, and this hotel is very accessible with a ramp to get to the lobby, flat ground (but hills) to get to the rooms, and food you can order to your room or the pool. Even the showers in the rooms are accessible (see photos). I 100% recommend staying here. I wish I could live here! I am excited to come back again in the future!
