The hotel is in a great location very close to lake Geneva. There is a beach bar, unfortunately when we visited this was closed to hotel guests for a private function. This was very disappointing as we were looking forward to sitting next to the lake. The room has a nice balcony with a really good view and was good to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine. The hotel itself is nicely laid out and is what I would describe as a boutique hotel, some really nice touches and plenty of communal area to sit and relax. The staff at reception were very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. The restaurant is clean and tidy and as with the rest of the hotel communal areas, nicely laid out. The service was excellent and the wait staff were attentive albeit quite slow. Expect to pay premium prices for the food although it was great quality and well thought out. Presentation of the food was contemporary and attractive. Breakfast was banging!! Perfect scrambled eggs, and I’m hard to please, and a good selection of breads, meats and pastries. Freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. There is a pool but we didn’t use that whilst we were there, it did look good and clean. Some of the guests, especially one particular older lady came across as being very entitled and was rude to one of the waitresses. I suppose you get that everywhere though and that is a digression from the review of the hotel. We would certainly return and highly recommend this hotel.
