We only managed to book one night at Hotel La Bastide d’Antoine for the dates we needed, but it turned out to be a gorgeous stay.|From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the sparkling blue swimming pool with the ocean and hills as a backdrop—a truly stunning view. Naturally, we spent our first few hours lounging by the pool, making the most of the complimentary sunbeds and ordering cocktails and beers, all of which were excellent.|Our room was located in a separate outbuilding and was very spacious, with large windows opening onto a lovely ocean view. While there was no balcony, the natural light and scenery were beautiful. That said, many of the windows faced areas where other guests could potentially see in, so we had to be a little mindful when getting ready. The bed was very comfortable, though the room was a bit noisy at night due to sounds from other guests and the pipes in the walls. Even so, we had a decent night’s sleep.|In the morning, we skipped the hotel breakfast, which was only about five minutes away by car. Walking would have taken closer to 50 minutes, so driving was the practical option given our limited time. Parking at the hotel was secure, with gated access, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.|Overall, Hotel La Bastide d’Antoine made for a beautiful and memorable stop. Despite a few small quirks, we would happily stay again.

I will forever cherish the days I spent at La Bastide d'Antoine! I found this hotel by chance when seeking out a home base for a trip to St. Tropez, and I now feel like I have a second home in paradise. ||||My fiance and I stayed for 4 nights, and while our room was spotless yet full of character, comfortably furnished, and more spacious than it looked even in the photos, the true stars of this property are its staff. I literally cried as we were leaving (it's not goodbye, just see you later, Alessio). It's rare when you find people across the world you instantly feel at home with - and who welcome you with open arms to feast at the buffet with just 15 minutes left because you stayed out in the town a little too late the night before. ;) The buffet is 5* quality - above and beyond what I have encountered in many similarly or higher priced hotels across Europe. I mean, I had unlimited tarte tropeziennes, cappucinos, and acai smoothies all week so I was in heaven. ||||We even ate dinner on the property twice, thoroughly enjoying some of the best meals of our trip right downstairs from our room, which was perfect post long days at the beach clubs before heading into town for a nightcap. We found the hotel to be quiet by the time we came back, and with the spread out rooms, we only had a downstairs neighbor adjacent to our room - and wouldn't have heard a peep either way!||||The grounds are incredible - with sweeping views of the bay where you can watch the sunlight dance across the water and the bordering mountains, and maybe even catch a rainbow in the rare summer showers (which we did and it was magical). Additionally, we found it to be incredibly convenient for heading into town or the beach club. We originally rented a car but found ubers to be so quick to come (4 minute wait time, tops), that we didn't end up driving at all while staying at la bastide. ||||All in all, you can tell that the staff truly cares about their guests, their food, and the property itself, and pour their hearts into it. In turn, we are in love with this property and are counting down the days until we can go back. Just book it!

Great boutique hotel tucked in the hilltops above St. Tropez—close enough to the energy of town, yet far enough to feel like a peaceful escape. Definitely book a room with a balcony: the west-facing views make for unforgettable sunset moments. The real standout here is the service…the staff went above and beyond with all my reservations and last-minute changes, and their warmth made the stay feel seamless. Communicating with them via email was simple and efficient. My only drawback was the strongly scented sheets and towels. As someone with sensitivities, this was a real challenge and likely attracts mosquitos. If the hotel could offer fragrance-free linens, it would make an already excellent experience even better.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The concierge (Especially Kristine) Was extremely helpful, our room was very comfy, and the rest of the staff were attentive, kind, and fabulous. We rented bikes, so we were only about a 10 minute bike ride to The center of San Tropez , but we also buy too many wineries and The beautiful town of Gassin! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I would like to begin this review by thanking the staff at this hotel for making our experience an unforgettable one. In particular: Alessio, Christine and Nicholas were all magnificent. ||I highly recommend the prestige sea view room or a room with a terrace as the views are spectacular and better than most of the 5 star hotels in the area. The room was spacious and the bathroom had everything we needed. Housekeeping included a turndown service - which was a very nice touch. ||The restaurant had some fantastic food and drink options. ||We had an incident on our last night where my wife left her cell phone in a taxi. Not only did Christine/Alessio help us locate the taxi driver, but they even convinced him to bring us the phone 2 hours away to our next location. ||I cannot thank this hotel staff enough for all of their hospitality. We are already looking forward to our return next Summer!

Absolutely the best experience. We only had 1 night at this amazing place but it has left a lasting impression. From the time we arrived the reception was great. The restaurant gave us a perfect table over looking the harbor and best of all they had Hugo Spritz! The food was great the view was amazing. The room had great a/c which is hard to find sometimes in Europe. The bed had additional pillows, the shower was well stocked. The small patio off the back of the room was a huge selling point. It was a quiet and peaceful place to relax for the evening. The following morning was breakfast that had everything you could want. This place will live in my memory for many years to come!

Beyond my imagination HORRIBLE!! We got in from a beautiful day on the sea from Cannes where my husband and I had truly enjoyed our boat trip only to be greeted by ms Christine! A nightmare from hell! When I mentioned to her as she was taking me to my room that I had asked for an ocean view, she did not delay in very rudely correcting me like a which school teacher that it is NOT THE OCEAN! It is the SEA! Like I am some child that needs to be schooled on transatlantic geography! Once we got to the room I mentioned that we had asked for an upper floor with a better view, not the ground floor. In fact we had called from Toronto prior to leaving, then again from Cannes to ensure that it was an upper floor which we had been promised that it was. However, Christine replied with ‘this is your room, on the ground floor, we are fully booked, and if you don’t like it YOU CAN LEAVE!! Of course you will be fully charged!! ‘ Where was I to go at 7pm in the evening in a country so far from home???!!! I have NEVER in my life felt SO UNWELCOMED and treated so rudely! She made me feel like she is doing me a big favour and that I am a big inconvenience and welcomed to leave!! I am stuck here for the next three nights, on my first trip ever to st Tropez, and I will be sure to NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!! Bunch of rude, self righteous, miserable people, with no sense of courtesy or the slightest bit of manners! Makes you wonder who hires these people 😢

Look no further than this hotel for a 10/10 view and experience in st Tropez. Only a 10 min drive into main st Tropez area and the cutest most boutique-style hotel. Large rooms and unbelievable pool with view!
