If we could, we would grant more than 5 stars to this excellent, luxurious yet so relaxing and welcoming hotel. Staff goes a long way to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Excellent breakfast and lunch / dinner options, shuttle to town center, nice rooms with balcony / patio, and a super knowledgeable and helpful concierge and restaurant staff will make your St Tropez outings a true success. Congrats to the Managing Director (who was ever present to talk to the guests !) and his team for a truly magic experience !

I had dinner with my daughter here. I can say that we were very impressed by this place. It is an oasis of elegance and refinement in the midst of the tourist madness of Saint Tropez. The reception by the concierge was very warm. We came a few hours early to make the reservation and the lady was very kind to show us the seats and let us choose any seat we want to reserve a table for later. You could feel the sophistication of this place. The waiting time was very short. We would have waited for a lot longer because of how beautiful it was there and what kind of vibe it was. I ate lobster with vegetables. It was fantastic. Congratulations to the chef. We wanted to come to the pool as well, but from what I understand the hotel was full and it was not possible. Maybe next time. We highly recommend a dinner and have a vacation here. It is a special experience.

This hotel is special! The atmosphere was relaxed, the decor chic and the rooms quiet and spacious. The team are what makes this hotel a standout with an incredible attention to detail and friendly ease: you can feel at home. They went above and beyond to make our stay as easy, effortless and as personable as possible. The chef started dinner service early to accommodate for our jet lag, there was a fast shuttle into town and all resturant and beach reservations were handled expertly by the staff. |Relax around the pool or spend time at the spa. Delicious breakfast. Couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

I can’t fault this hotel. The staff are attentive and kind. The rooms were beautifully finished, clean and modern. The pool is heated, clean and chic and the food is delicious. As soon as we arrived we booked to come again. 5 stars very deserved

Went there for a romantic week end this Summer . The réception staff is super Nice, as the valets and the pools waiter. The room was a bit small, but the overall assets of the location is dreamy. The swimmingpool is super Nice and the Provence style décoration is a blast.

I approached our 2 night stay here with a little trepidation. St Tropez isn’t really geared towards someone like me. I personally don’t like the overzealous exuberance of the place and I wasn’t happy paying the amount I did for a room for a friends birthday weekend. Taking this pre conceived view into this trip I was pleasantly surprised with La Bastide.||Negative first, this hotel (and probably 90% of hotels in St Tropez) is not worth the “uber” 5 star prices. Our room was very small and not of the quality of a top hotel. Could’ve done with a better decor and there were many knocks and bumps visible. I could’ve got unlucky with the room but I suspect all would’ve looked similar. ||Looking to the positives. It’s a small hotel and hence is very peaceful and tranquil. If you’re in St Tropez for a party weekend, it’s nice to escape and have a few hours chilling out around the beautiful pool area. Plenty of green plants and trees, terracotta styled buildings beautiful blue pool, the whole thing resonates of 1960’s Beverly Hills movie star dripping hotel. It really is lovely. ||Every member of staff we encountered were incredibly friendly from the front of house to the maids. They also had an incredibly helpful free transfer to the main town centre. The hotel is about 20 min walk to the centre so very doable but in the summer heat, it is nice to have the option to be driven. The roads are so busy in St Tropez so I felt guilty asking the guys to take us for such a short journey but it never seemed too much for them and they were always happy to help.||The food is good at the hotel also. Breakfast is buffet style and whilst the selection wasn’t the biggest, it is a tiny hotel so difficult to justify a massive spread as much of it would be wasted. What was there, was good. We had lunch around the pool also at their BBQ option. The food here was really good and of a very generous portion size. My only quibble would be that again, there is no justification for the price and the food and beverage prices were insanely eye watering.||Overall, a very lovely hotel and if you can reason or overlook the exorbitant cost, you’ll no doubt enjoy your stay.

Yelp
Stay away, unless you enjoy throwing away money. We paid for a two night stay (500 Euros) a week in advance of a trip to Saint Tropez. Due to a passport issues, we had to change our travel dates. Our reservation was made through Expedia who suggested they were in a better position to get us re-booked or refunded. Instead Expedia cancelled our reservation before trying to change our travel dates or get us a refund. This left us with no leverage in the situation. We went to the hotel the following week and they had rooms available. We asked if we could receive a discounted rate as the hotel had taken our $500 Euros the week previous. The lady at the desk told us (in quite a rude manner I might add) that unless we cancelled thirty days in advance they are not obliged to do anything for us and refused to offer any sort of refund and or discount. We had originally booked weekend nights and were asking for a single Monday night. The hotel had 3 cars in the whole parking lot, so we were not interfering with other business. We stayed else were and will never do business with this hotel again. I am also very disappointed in the lack of effort on Expedia's part.
