Hotel La Bitta

We had a lovely stay overall! The property is beautiful and the location is excellent. Our room was spacious, airy, and modern with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and a great shower. The real standout was the staff; the front desk and restaurant teams were incredibly warm, welcoming, and kind. Truly top-notch service that made us feel very well taken care of. That said, there were a few things that could be improved: Sunbeds: Many guests would “reserve” beds early in the morning by leaving towels, despite signs stating that this isn’t allowed. Unfortunately, this policy wasn’t enforced, and we often struggled to find a place to sit even when the pool area was mostly empty. Breakfast & Coffee: The breakfast buffet was fine but fairly basic and nothing too exciting. The coffee, especially for Italian standards, was underwhelming. Room noise (502): Our room was right by the pool, which was lovely. However, we also seemed to share a wall with a staff area, possibly the kitchen. This meant quite a bit of noise late at night (around midnight) and early in the morning (around 6:45 am), - clinking plates, loud voices, etc. This could be a quite disruptive. Overall, still a very enjoyable stay with lots to love, just a few areas that could use some attention! Finally, the price point is quite high for the standard, just something to consider and be aware of.

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat in a stunning setting on the beautiful island of Sardinia then Hotel La Bitta is the perfect place for an amazing holiday. We have just returned after 7 nights and can honestly say that it was everything we had hoped for. The location is stunning, with the most beautiful beach on the doorstep, with turquoise sea and a private area for hotel guests. Susanna and her reception team are amazing, nothing was ever too much for them, and their local recommendations were excellent (Ristorante Delenin is a family run restaurant 10 minutes drive from the hotel, and offers the most delightful freshly prepared food with the most wonderful service you could ever ask for). Transfers from the airport are not cheap, but hiring a car proved better all round for us ….although the journey from Olbia was not great for those who suffer from travel sickness!! Don’t let that put you off from the most wonderful hotel in a wonderful setting with the most wonderful staff. 5 stars plus plus.|Thanks you Susanna and team xxxx

Just finished a wonderful honeymoon stay at Hotel La Bitta! The property is gorgeous, with a quiet pool area overlooking their private beach. The spa area is a nice addition too. ||Our room was a bit smaller than expected, but the balcony space overlooking the water made up for it. The private beach was also a bit crammed with chairs, but very nice that it was roped off from the public part next to it. Bar service to the beach was available and use of a paddleboard and kayak upon request. ||The restaurant was also incredible! The breakfast buffet had a great variety and we had multiple fantastic meals for lunch and dinner. Fresh seafood, pastas, sandwiches - all overlooking the water. Definitely the nicest hotel in the area and a perfect location for visiting other beaches in Baunei nearby.

The most beautiful and welcoming hotel. Definitely treat yourself to a room with sea view, so worth it! Everything was beautiful and well maintained, the spa area inviting with a gorgeous view out to sea. Also very capable and talented massage therapists. Room and all the hotel and outdoor areas always impeccably clean, very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Pool and beach with very comfy loungers and plenty of shade. The bed and pillow was also the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel. The only downside was the food sometimes - it wasn’t always as good as we would have expected. But as I had the most wonderful time there I can’t take away a star even for that.

Just came back from our Minimoon at the La Bitta and would 100% recommend it to anyone. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The room was fantastic, and we had a sea view room. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. We ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The food and service were outstanding, waiters could not do enough for you. We spent most of our time around the pool, which was quiet and drinks could be brought to your sun lounger, which was a nice touch. I can 100% recommend this Hotel it's an absolute gem.

We spent the most romantic part of our honeymoon at Hotel La Bitta in late May and it was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning location and thoughtful details that made our stay so special. Our room had a perfect view of the ocean, and one of the highlights was the jacuzzi tub right on our private balcony—we enjoyed it every evening with a glass of wine as the sun set over the water. The hotel even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne for our honeymoon when we arrived! Just below the hotel is a beautiful beach with chairs and umbrellas reserved for guests, only steps away. The cove is picture-perfect, and the water is unbelievably clear—some of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. The hotel also has a pool and a spa, which made for an incredibly relaxing second day. We treated ourselves to a couples massage with a view of the ocean, then soaked in the complimentary hydromassage pool before catching some sun by the swimming pool. Dining at the hotel was another highlight. Every morning and evening we enjoyed meals overlooking the sea, which created such a romantic and peaceful setting. The food was delicious, and we especially loved the sandwiches from the bar restaurant for lunch—perfect after a swim or spa session. A small note: the only downside was the presence of gnats near the buffet area, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Although there are local restaurants nearby, we chose to dine at the hotel throughout our stay—and we’re so glad we did. Everything was convenient, relaxing, and tailored to couples looking for a romantic escape. Hotel La Bitta gave us the dream honeymoon experience we had hoped for. We’re already talking about coming back for an anniversary trip!

We were in a Deluxe Room with a view of the sea. It was beautiful. We had everything we needed. Service at the hotel is impeccable. We used the laundry service too and it was fantastic. All hotel staff is very friendly and professional. Serena at the Spa is wonderful.

We had an excellent 8 night stay at La Bitta. The location right on the beach is stunning and the pool is also very good and nice and quiet. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The restaurant offers fantastic views of the beach and sea and the food was of high quality. I can highly recommend La Bitta.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel for several years and it has become our special getaway place in which we just relax, enjoy the beach, views, amazing food and cocktails and read a book while disconnecting from everything else. The staff is very attentive, professional and helpful, the hotel is well cared for with great amenities, choice of beach or pool - both great - great cocktail veranda and great restaurant. I would also recommend a massage and paired with good book to top it off and you have a small heaven on earth!

We booked the second half of our honeymoon here. Although we were impressed with the room and pool area, the rest is lacking. The food was not good at breakfast and just ok at lunch. The deciding factor for this one star is that we asked for a bucket of ice at the bar for a special bottle of wine we had brought for our last night. The bar staff, although opening 2 bottles for us before and offering us buckets previous nights; on our final night decided they would only offer ice in a bucket for 5€. I've never been to even a 1 star hotel anywhere in the world that will not offer their guests complimentary ice and I travel over 1/2 the time for work. We put our bottle of Dom in the fridge instead of being held hostage to this dystopian hotel. They knew we were on our honeymoon and we felt they were trying to take us over to coals on this. In addition having a 10€ room service charge is very steep, which we did pay for a couple bottles of Prosecco. It is in an idyllic location yet spoiled by their own arrogance . I'd recommend to pass this hotel by as you'd expect complimentary ice from any hotel. Probably the worst ending to a stay I've experienced and a terrible way to treat honeymooners. If you're on your honeymoon go elsewhere. At over 400€ a night you can do much better elsewhere. It's a shame that the management doesn't understand what a 4 star hotel is. No more than a 3 star at best which would be a reach. It's unfortunate that the staff isn't trained to deal with customers expecting a 4 star hotel. Until such time they improve their service, you'd be better served at another hotel. Do t waste your money and time here.
