If it were possible to add a 6th star this would be at the La Bouitte. We spent two nights at this stunning Hotel. The structure itself is amazing, beautiful and at the top of a mountain that is not to be believed. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, offering treats of hot tea especially brewed in the afternoon and a small dessert taken to our room. The room itself was gorgeous with a mountain view and the sound of cowbells from our balcony suite in the morning. We arrived past dinnertime one evening and they went out of their way to find us something to eat at 10:30 at night-- delivered to our room. The food is excellent and the breakfast is beyond amazing. The man in charge of breakfast explained everything in detail and all the food is local. Great spa and sauna. I would highly highly recommend this hotel.

Very cozy hotel with magnificent service and great staff! I went with my family and we couldn’t recommend this place enough. Not to mention, the restaurant is spectacular. Excellent food, excellent ambiance, just wonderful! This is where you must stay if you are coming to the 3 Valleys and are looking for a place that feels like home 😊

Incredible. The staff at La Bouitte is over the top helpful. Maybe the best staff of any hotel I've stayed at. Every part of the property is beautiful. The rooms are pretty, well appointed, and cozy. La Bouitte is truly a very special place. You can tell that the Meilleur family is trying hard to make the hotel and restaurant the best they can possibly be. ||The food (both dinner and breakfast) are amazing. I've been lucky enough to eat at a number of 3 Michelin starred restaurants and at many other top restaurants, so I had high expectations for the dinner at La Bouitte. Those expectations were exceeded. My dinner at La Bouitte is possibly my favorite meal of all time. Neither the dinner nor the hotel are cheap, but they are both somehow still an great value. ||My only criticism is that the guest rooms could use a bit more light in the evenings!

We stayed in a suite, sadly for only one night. Everything about the hotel is superb, luxurious and the highest quality. ||The customer service from all staff members that we met was exceptional. They couldn't have been more helpful. The food and wine in the 3 Michelin * restaurant was, as expected, at an entirely new level. And the suite was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. ||We appreciated the pastries in our room on arrival and also our leaving gifts which included a large pastry, water for our journey, a Relais & Châteaux guide and the menu from our dinner on the previous evening. ||We travel a fair bit but this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. ||Bravo et merci!

The spa, the restaurant's Oencologique Evening was truly amazing. The staff were easily able to speak to us in English and translate for others as needed. The room was beautiful, but very warm-no air conditioning, the bathroom was also very nice. Would love to spend more time here.

My wife and I stayed at this Hotel during the Summer of 2021. We arrived by camper Van, and wanted to go road cycling. |The hotel is family-led, and held in the style of the surrounding villages. Its style blends in perfectly, with the surroundings, but still works great as a luxury hotel. It is not comparable with a Grand Luxury hotel, but has so much Charme and coziness to it. |The rooms were clean, the staff was nice and helpful, we liked all of this a lot. |We really enjoyed the people being from the area and the especially the food. The bread and pastries were fantastic. All the food from the area is amazing. |The views from the hotel restaurants terrace is fanatics, too. ||We also enjoyed the little Spa a lot. |Lastly, I can really recommend the area for Road cycling. I did one ride up Col de la Loze, and the again up to Val Thorens. Beautiful and brutal, both have recently featured in the Tour de France. |Also, the Col de la Madeleine is right around the corner, and the climb from Feissons is amazing!||I can only recommend this hotel to everyone who enjoy luxury and coziness, and feeling welcome in a family surrounding.

Incredible stay. One of the most special stays that I will ever have. The staff were attentive, gracious and kind. The rooms were comfortable and welcoming, and often has local, home made treats brought to them. I felt that we truly had a luxury experience, but one that was very in tube with the mountain setting. We were in the heart of the mountains, but had the benefit of an effortless, relaxing stay

Our room was extremely comfortable and perfectly equipped, very quiet, everything you'd expect at this level. Maybe a bit small for a 5 stars but this is quite understandable given the peculiar architecture of the hotel. The small spa is very welcoming, the breakfast is exceptional and the service, in line with that of the restaurant is sophisticated bof not pretentious. Price (almost!) reasonable for the lev of the prestations. Absolutely recommended.

Yelp
When I graduated high school, a long-lost French relative gave me a knife. Here at La Bouitte, a similar-looking knife of similar significance accompanied me and my buddy Rhett for our entire meal. True to the region and everything one might expect when dining at a three-Michelin-starred French restaurant in France, this is the pinnacle of fine dining. This pinnacle is one you physically descend to reach if you're staying in Val Thorens. The 8-course tasting menu has more Easter eggs, so to speak, than an actual Easter basket. If this is one's first time encountering such a level of seriousness and perfectionism at a dinner table, you will find it overwhelming and exhausting. Even for me, a seasoned eater--a seasoned sitter--eclipsing four hours at La Bouitte was not a "marathon" for me. My best marathon finishing time is actually quite a bit faster. Aside from the endurance aspect (coupled with arranging reliable transportation to take you back to wherever you came from) it should be mentioned that the menu does extensively feature offal and classics like foie gras. This is not a place for picky American eaters, and not a place for the aspirational diner who wants to "collect" as many Michelin stars as possible. It's a log cabin wherein one can enjoy the meal of a lifetime, but it demands a certain palate and preparedness and, my god, travel time.

Yelp
The best meal I've ever had. The craftsmanship in every course - even the butter was phenomenal - blew me away. I still dream about the cheese soufflé with crispy onions. The wine pairing was a match made in heaven... by the sommelier. The service was top notch. The fact that they take your ski boots and give you fluffy slippers to wear is the icing on the cake (after the 3 dessert courses).

Yelp
Superb food that keeps on improving. I have been to La Bouitte for my family since their 1st star and the third one is a great deserved achievement. Always a surprise, always a delight and the nicest team in the Alps. A true cosy luxury.
