Overall it was a nice experience but by far not a 5-star level.
1. Lunch: there was no free table so, after waiting some time, they proposed us to seat on a coffee table. We proposed to seat outside in the sun (literally in front of the restaurant) and apparently it was not possible. The waiters were nice but they did not have any idea of the cocktail menu. The food was cold and really basic. Price did not match the experience at all.
2. Spa: there is a spa in the hotel, which you need to book. It might be that there is too many people and they tell you to go at a different time. In our case, we still went because we had a massage right after and it looked like a public swimming pool. Furthermore, the toilets were not working and, because of broken sinks they were dirty and without windows.
3. Breakfast: it is the first time in my life I have to line 20 minutes to have breakfast in the hotel. The food was regular, once again, not a 5-star breakfast - in particular the deserts clearly came from the freezer.
4. Retama Michelin Restaurant: the traditional menu was very good. The personnel also super nice. However, I am lactose intolerant, and they did not bother to change any of the plates for me. Thanks God I had my medications, otherwise I could have not enjoyed the majority of the food. On the other hand, I booked when the traditional menu was 80€; they raised the price to 100€ afterwards - ofc I figured it out at the moment of the bill.
5. Golf: we forgot the golf clubs and we had to rent them. They were a mix of different brands and so old that while practicing one broke. Balls to practice were finished in the distributor so we could not practice before playing the course. Definitely recommending to bring your own.
6. Bedroom: we had a deluxe bedrooms which was perfect - comfortable bed, nice view and clean.
