Hotel La Compañía Casco Antiguo - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

This trip was planned nearly last minute, as a quick getaway to go somewhere new. We had an amazing vacation. Hotel la Compania was the perfect location and accommodations providing comfort and accessibility. It's a beautiful building with a lot of history and stunning decor. We received an upgrade to a 1 BR suite and our room was perfect; likely the most comfortable bed I've experienced at any hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious every day. Thank you Daniel for the extra attention and the Mimosas ;)|| We took the Mixology (with Edwin) and the Coffee Tasting (with Anthony) experiences and both were fun and educational. Would highly recommend.||There is so much to explore in the area and we look forward to returning. Everybody we encountered was friendly and welcoming.

Wow. Just go. Trust me. Everything is top notch. The furnishings are world class. Service is impeccable. Basilio gave me a tour and showed me around then helped me get settled in Exilio Bar along with amazing servers Neimar and Luis lopez. There is an obvious care put towards service. Great to see this.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed with Hyatt. The architecture, the room, the food, were all good quality. Had a great time at the rooftop with our guy Radazell. Overall the staff was good. Service could sometimes be slow but not awful. Cool elevators!!

Hands down, one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in! Each detail is so precise and well thought out as if you were transported into the history of Panamá. The hotel offers something like 5 restaurants and 6 bars. The area has plenty to do and eat both day and night. Excellent experience that we will surely do again and again.

We celebrated our anniversary in style at this gorgeous resort in the center of the old town. Food, service, cocktails and our room were all beyond our expectations. The warmth and kindness, caring and attention to detail was evident in every interaction we had from Bryan at the front desk, Wilfredo the concierge, Sonia our waitress, Anthony the restaurant manager and on and on. We didn’t have time to try all 5 restaurants but enjoyed all of our meals. Also enjoyed the pool area with stunning views. It would be difficult to try to compare this to any US hotel as it was far beyond Ritz or Four Seasons. Definitely will come back for this!

This is a GREAT hotel - everything was perfect from the room to the rooftop pool to the restaurants. Located right in the heart of the old city, this place is surprisingly secluded and quiet but the busy streets are just steps away. Rooms are beautiful and the beds are hard to leave in the mornings. ||A incredibly well-run hotel with top notch staff. Take the free tour to learn about the history of the buildings that make up the different wings.

One of the more beautiful hotels we’ve stayed at. The architecture is just gorgeous. The elevators- nice! You’ll have to come and see for yourself. The restaurants are very good, the rooftop bar is amazing. Kudos to our guy, Radazell who really took care of us at the rooftop. (Go Cubs! Radazell!) The staff here overall was good. There were some delays in service at the restaurant, but overall I think it was pretty good. Housekeeping was great, and being a Hyatt guest of honor on this stay was truly a benefit. Thank you Hyatt for the great perk! I will add that our room faced the garden, I’ve read some negative reviews about street facing rooms being loud. I can only say that being on the garden side was very quiet and relaxing.

Thes is a beautifully restored historic in the heart of the "Casco Viejo". Beautiful architecture, very nicely designed room (we were in the Spanish wing) with a balcony overlooking the central garden.||The location couldn’t be better. We spent two days and we would step outside and walk the cobblestone streets, visit the cafes, and great restaurants in this part of the old town. You can easily explore the city all day, then return to relax a bit and go out again. The hotel has several excellent restaurants and bars.||For me thought what made the stay really special is the service. Every staff member we met was great, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Big thanks to GM Bruno who walked the floors every day greeting the guests and ensuring everything was great.||If you are visiting Panama City, this is the place to stay! It’s a rare combination of history, beautiful rooms, and exceptional service that makes you want to return. I know I will!
